Wilbur Davis Studios is a design and manufacturing studio based in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. We aim to create furniture and home decor with an almost magical quality, featuring visual lightness, sleek curves, ease of use, and tactile pleasure. Our goal is to reawaken daily enjoyment through the simple delights of quality surroundings.
Kelly Wilbur and Matthew Davis began collaborating in late 2008. In addition to a shared love of furniture design and woodworking, we draw from previous experience in sculpture, photography, ceramics, technology, and manufacturing. We love the hands-on aspect of our work, and it remains a constant source of inspiration to this day.

Services
We make modern wood platform beds, lighting, bath accessories, and other fine pieces of home decor. We make it a priority to do something special with every design, and then we follow through in construction. Using sculpted joinery and continuous edges in our beds presents technical challenges, but rather than eliminate design elements for quick results, we have adapted our build process to be accurate, and as repeatable as possible.
Platform Bed No. 1 is simple, elegant, and strong. The square rails give the bed a lightweight appearance while maintaining a completely solid stance. We designed this frame to come apart easily and move without a lot of fuss. Once assembled though, it becomes clear that this is a piece that is here to stay.
This storage bed was designed for those who want an elegant, modern bed and wish to make efficient use of storage space at the same time. There is no need to climb on the floor for storage bins here! Instead, the bed provides six dovetailed maple drawers with high-quality, Blum full-extension slides with soft close action.
Platform Bed No. 3 is a low, wide platform bed made from solid wood, the ultimate luxury foundation for your mattress. In this design, the heavy solid wood bed frame and headboard appear to visually float above your floor. Crisp rectangular edges and pristine modern construction set this piece apart from other modern platform beds.
This meticulously sculpted solid wood daybed is perfectly as home in your guest room, den, or child's room. Sculpted legs and paneled sides are built to allow for seasonal movement of the solid wood, while keeping a smooth modern look. This is a piece meant to be kept and treasured. On our furniture pieces, we use 2 different eco-friendly finishes, depending on wood species.

I am blown away by the quality of the bed I purchased from Wilbur-Davis Studio. Everything from the order to set up was so easy and the craftsmanship is unlike anything I have ever seen. This is the last bed I will ever have to buy...it is sturdy, non squeaking, and looks amazing! It is clear that they work very hard to make sure each order is perfect! Thanks so much designing and making such beautiful furniture!
