Ponte Winery
We are located in the heart of Temecula Wine Country. Surrounded by nearly 300 acres of mature vineyards and by views of rolling hills, we are a short drive from most of Southern California. We have farmed our vineyards since 1984, opened our winery in 2003, became innkeepers in 2012, and have since become the benchmark for great service among Temecula wineries.

Our motto is "If you like it, it's good wine." We invite you to visit the Temecula Wineries and enjoy a day, or stay, in the country. During these busy times, our call volume is high. For a faster response, please email us at info@pontewinery.com and we'll do our best to get back to you within the next hour.
Services
Our Tasting Rooms are 21+, but you may enjoy a glass while attending to your little ones in the garden. We understand wine pairs well with food, but we ask that you leave all outside food and beverages at the door and let us do the cooking! Here are guidelines to ensure the safety of all of our Wine Club Members, guests, and associates.
At Ponte, we don't only talk the talk; we walk the walk! Take a virtual tour through our working winery to see our sustainable practices in action, and learn about the rigorous standards we uphold to maintain our California Sustainable Winegrowing certification. The Reserve Room will host a variety of live musical artists the first Sunday of each month in 2020.
Our Vineyard Estate Tour provides a fascinating look at a working winery. Embark on our 10-passenger electric bus and tour our 310 acre ranch. Learn about our grape growing philosophy as you taste signature Ponte wines among the vineyards from which they are grown. After returning, you will visit our winemaking facilities and learn about the art and science of winemaking.
We are a boutique producer, making wines in very small batches; typically 1,500 cases per year for each variety. Compared to the California winery giants we are tiny, which allows us to concentrate on superior quality over quantity. These are wines made primarily from a single variety of grape, like Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Vermentino, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, Tempranillo and Montepulciano.
Quality wine begins in the vineyard, and our vineyards are a constant source of pride, worry and inspiration. We farm 21 varieties on nearly 300 acres, making ours one of the largest vineyards in Temecula. Our vineyard team keeps us up to date on the latest viticulture techniques and works hard to make sure our grapes thrive year after year so we can deliver the wines our guests love.

We became members of Ponte's Wine Club during the pandemic and it's been a marvelous experience being able to get outside and enjoy the spacious and subtly elegant beauty of their tasting rooms, arbor, and patios, and stroll the landscaped grounds all while sipping their very nice wines. The on-site restaurant too is wonderful and is super clean and open under a roof, protected as needed by roll down panels. The menu is varied, well thought out, and super delicious.

A wine tasting followed by lunch has been the perfect antidote to our pandemic blues and feels like a day in the country

Had a great wine tasting and dining experience at Ponte. Staff was super helpful and we were even able to get a walk-in lunch reservation on the spot in the middle of our tasting. Great menu of wine options and the restaurant was amazing as well. Highly recommend if visiting the area.

Came here with my family and had a nice tasting during covid. Flights of wine were good but I felt rushed during my tasting. They kept bringing the next wine and started to discuss it while we were still enjoying the precious pour. Would have been nice to just let us take our time.

A meal at Ponte is always amazing! It's been quite a while since I've been able to enjoy one, and NYE dinner seemed like the perfect time to enjoy! It was a preset menu of three courses. A pesto crustini to start was quite good, you can appreciate the freshness of the garden delicacies. Though just one crustini was served to each person, was a bit distasteful. The server then brought Ponte's famous scallion oil dipping sauce a s a loaf of their fresh herbed focaccia bread to the table. The scallion oil is absolutely amazing.
I selected the shrimp and potato soup which

Really enjoy their red wines, especially the Doppieta and the Vernaccia Nera. The latter is controversial (apparently) but I love it! Reminds me of Dr. Pepper as a wine. It's definitely interesting and makes the tasting more exciting!

My first visit was last summer and we were lucky to sit in the member area patio, which is I think is the best time to visit and the best tasting experience. I visited last week and on a Tuesday and it was not busy, inside their tasting room and still a pleasant, more casual experience. The shop with the tasting room is also a great place to browse for gifts

My family and I have been going to Ponte Winery for 11 years.... imagine my shock and disappointment to find out my "family" was no longer welcomed at Ponte.... No children..... period.

Claudio, one of the owners actually had the audacity to describe parents in their latest newsletter to members as "negligent"

Last I checked Wine was about family. I will not be "neglitent" with my money and support this un-welcoming venue any longer.

I refuse to support a winery that does not welcome my family. I canceled my membership and know others who have done the same, and

Stopped by again for a tasting. For 30 bucks, you'll get to choose 6 from their current list. I left with a bottle of the Meritage 2017, Pinot Gris 2020, and the 2017 Doppietta. The grounds are gorgeous, you can take your glass and walk around and enjoy the weather and views of the vineyards. I've been back at least 3 times so i felt it was time to join their wine club, and since I bought at least 2 bottles during my visit, the membership fee was free.

First time I was back after COVID started. The wine tasting area was packed. The majority of the people there are not wearing a mask. I felt uneasy and uncomfortable. The entire time at the tasting room, I made sure I was facing away from the crowd. I noticed the price of wine tasting was higher. We were waiting for somebody to assist us, and somehow there was confusion about who will help us with the wine tasting.

I made the reservation for a birthday dinner, and my instruction was not followed. I wanted a cake with one candle for the birthday celebrant. That did not happen. The bill for five

Ponte Winery was the second stop on the Temecula wine trail and were I had intended on eating lunch after reading how the restaurant here was a great stop.

I was full from my first stop so I didn't eat at the restaurant but I did have the foresight to make a reservation for a tasting. I was early so I walked around the grounds a little which was a nice little time filler. There's a hotel that sits on the acreage as well with a little pond in the back. The vines weren't in bloom yet but it was still a nice walk.

The wine tasting is done on their patio and it runs the spectrum from

I'm going to base my review of Ponte on their restaurant and staff. Five stars all around. Their wine isn't really my thing here in Socal. I apologize, it's just not my style. We do frequent the restaurant here though and it never disappoints! The food is fresh and delicious, choices for all and everyone. Yesterday we wanted to spoil a retired pal so we stopped in exclusively for this treat without a reservation a little after lunch time, about 1.30. We were seated right away by a friendly hostess. Though a water greeter tried to bring us that amazing bread, we declined and asked

Ponte Winery is one of my favorite Wineries in Temecula. The staff are consistently friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to provide us a great experience. It's also a great place to socialize with other local Temecula residents or people visiting from all over California or other States and Countries.

Ponte Winery provides a wide selection of reds, and white wines to choose from. Ponte also has a restaurant if you want to have lunch or dinner with friends or if you had too much to drink, you can stay at their hotel onsite. If you're unable to visit Ponte Winery, you can

Ponte winery is beautiful! Beware - this place is reservations only for wine tasting but you can also buy a glass or bottle (no reservation required).

The staff here are extremely knowledgeable about the wines so if you're not sure what to order, just let them know what you like to drink.

I will note that I did notice the front (people at registers) lacked diversity. Just something I noticed when I went on a Saturday afternoon. Hopefully this is different on other days or will be changed.

Other than that, Ponte is a great winery and I would recommend it to others.

It was super hot morning and for some reason someone cancelled our reservations. No Problem! It was no big deal really because we were immediately taken to our designated table. I have never had freshly squeezed orange juice w my mimosa! Refreshing! Especially, when it is about to get really hot. Yes! It was perfection, especially with the hot morning but no sweat b/c the misters were already on and it felt just like heaven. We all had a lovely brunch. We were a party of five gals.

The open fresh air really helped me/us relaxed. Our visit was short and sweet.

Stellar Service and easy access

Nice winery. My only complaint was that the service was slow- slow to acknowledge us standing waiting to be seated, slow to get seated, slow to get our everything.

But the winery itself was very aesthetically pleasing and beautiful.
