Services
The OCPAA Company performs at the top industry dance competitions throughout Southern California and has garnered numerous high-point, top overall, choreography and special awards for solos, duos/trios and groups. Our 200+ dancers range in age from 4 to 18 and comprise several different competitive teams that receive the utmost in technical and physical training from some of the most talented instructors of our time.
Founded in 1985, Orange County Performing Arts Academy's mission is to provide competitive and recreational dancers of all ages access to Orange County's premier dance instructors at a family-focused, award-winning studio centered on providing the utmost in fun and fierce technical and physical training.
OCPAA X - select company group dances (ages 7+) which will compete at company competitions as well as select conventions. All OCPRO applicants should ONLY register on the portal for the one OCPRO audition class on 8/8. New applicants will be automatically enrolled in the 8/7 auditions for their age level.
OCPRO is an intense training program for dancers looking to further their dance career. This select team will be geared towards conventions and working with outside choreographers to enhance their training. Although we truly believe that home studio training is of the utmost importance, we also want to expose these dancers to the outside dance world.
Classes, times, days and instructors subject to change without notice. Please contact the studio office for latest information if trying a class for the first time. Unless otherwise indicated below all classes are designed for beginning level dancers. All students are eligible to take one TRIAL CLASS per class (2 total) before enrolling.

This dance studio is completely selfish and unprofessional. Shading kids & their parents on their social media accounts for days on end. Ridiculous, EGREGIOUS prices. 500$-700$ for a dance audition is absolutely RIDICULOUS. Some of us are still working and are having a hard time due to COVID-19 and for you to charge us that amount of money for a measly audition is beyond ludicrous. I will not stand for the unprofessional behavior from their social media team and I will not stand for their ridiculous pricing. There is no way I will ever send my kids here just to be ridiculed on social media by immature

We started here over the pandemic with online classes. Then went to the studio and has now since joined Company. Everyone has been warm and welcoming. My daughters have made some great friends. Plus the staff has been great from everyone in the office and the teachers. Definitely recommend OCPAA to everyone!

Both my daughters attend dance here. One for over 2 years (5 yrs old) and the other for about 1 year (3 yrs old). They find so much joy in it. Part of that is because of their natural love of dance, but a huge part is also because of the teachers. The teachers are amazing and great with the kids. My girls really look up to them.

My daughter has been taking classes since she was 3 y/o and she loves it (she's now 5 y/o). They have a variety of classes for various levels including recreational to competition level - leaving room for individual growth. I looked into the instructors' experience before choosing this dance academy and they definitely have a large staff of well trained instructors. The cost is very reasonable as well. I love the studio - the classrooms the vibe of a true dance studio you'd see in the movies :)
