We are a team of dedicated Registered Dietitians in New York City passionate about providing nutrition counseling that is rooted in a weight inclusive, non-diet approach, and an affirming, intersectional lens. Most of the individuals we work with initially reach out to us because eating has become a source of distress, confusion, shame and/or complication.
Our clinical specializations include the treatment of eating disorders, disordered eating, body image, child feeding concerns, and health conditions that can be supported with nutrition therapy. Our practice offers virtual nutrition counseling to clients anywhere in New York state and in other select states.

Services
LK Nutrition values inclusivity, diversity, accessibility, collaboration and ethical care. We recognize that our eating behaviors and attitudes towards our bodies don't occur in a vacuum. We believe it's crucial to acknowledge how systems of oppression impact individual relationships with food, and overall well-being.
Phone consultation (complimentary, 15 minutes): Prior to getting started, we offer a complimentary introductory phone call so that we can talk more about your interests in nutrition counseling. We can also answer any questions you might have about our approach and the process of working together.
Initial session (60 minutes, $275): In our first session, we'll invite you to share more about your unique food and body story, and review your goals for treatment so that we can tailor your support accordingly. From there we'll discuss a general plan for what our work together might look like as we move forward.

Our ultimate intent is to support you in learning how to honor your unique needs, by exploring what "health" really means for you, and empowering you to exist more peacefully with food and your body.
To facilitate this process, we offer a judgment-free space to discuss your eating, movement and body image-related concerns, invitations to unpack and challenge assumptions or internalized beliefs about these topics that may be keeping you stuck, and tailored support in cultivating behaviors that foster genuine physical, mental and emotional well-being.

I called Lk nutrition to schedule an appt for my daughter but they did not accept my insurance. I was offered to apply for a scholarship that they was giving out to African American/ Hispanic, with lower income. She was given the scholarship and was being seen by one of the nutritionist.
Every time my daughter was unable to go to the visit she was charged $103 (during COVID time) . She was also told that she would lose the scholarship . Which made my daughter feel insecure and uneasy. My daughter had a diagnosis of depression and anxiety and these appts were doing more harm than good. When my

Lindsay and Ashley are very compassionate individuals. However, they are strict proponents of the HES philosophy (Health at Any Size). This was not made clear at our consultation and not until a couple of months working together. Hence, if you are looking for help in reducing your weight, this may not be the right fit.

I've worked with Lindsay for several years and find her to be informed, dedicated, and professional. She is always willing to go beyond what may be expected to meet the needs of her clients, and she communicates effectively with other professionals in order to provide excellent treatment. If you are looking for individualized care I highly recommend Lindsay.

Lindsay is a creative and warm dietitian. Her approachable style allows clients to feel comfortable immediately. Her non judgmental way of tackling food makes her someone I refer to often and love collaborating with. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with her will have a new outlook on food and is in great hands!
