Welcome to ClancyWorks Dance Company, founded by Artistic Director Adrienne Clancy in 2001. We help enhance the quality of life for people in many communities, using the arts as a way to develop mutual understanding and to advance positive social action. Our principles of partnerships and collaborative practices are woven through each of our program areas.
We are particularly known for our exploration of what we call "architecturally informed partnering work." What is architecturally informed partnering work? With our many programs in performances, arts in education residencies, assemblies and afterschool programs, professional development training and open classes and workshops, there's always something going on with ClancyWorks! Whether you want to see a live performance, participate in a dance class or develop your skills in a workshop, there's something for everyone.

ClancyWorks Dance Company reaches thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds, bringing high-quality dance performances and programs to the DC metropolitan area. Its modern dance ensemble performs for audiences at school assemblies and senior citizen centers, and on local, national, and international stages.
