Dr. Nasir and his staff are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough examination and a discussion of potential treatment options. This important 30-minute visit will give us insight into your orthodontic needs.
The appearance and function of your teeth are impacted by this type of bite. It is characterized by the upper teeth extending too far forward or the lower teeth not extending far enough forward. The upper front teeth extend out over the lower front teeth, sometimes causing the lower front teeth to bite into the roof of the mouth.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic screening at age 7. By this age, several permanent teeth in most children have erupted, allowing us to effectively evaluate your orthodontic condition. No, they will not. The space available for the front teeth does not increase as you grow.
A Proxabrush is an interdental (between the teeth) toothbrush that you may use to clean underneath and around your wires and braces. Use the Proxabrush gently to avoid damaging your wires. The Proxabrush will help you to clean your braces while maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Peroxyl, a hydrogen peroxide antiseptic mouth rinse, will reduce inflammation to your gums and cheeks.
Though an orthodontist can enhance a smile at any age, there is an optimal time period to begin treatment. Beginning treatment at this time ensures the greatest result and the least amount of time and expense. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that the initial orthodontic evaluation should occur at the first sign of orthodontic problems or no later than age 7.

Dr. Nasir has been our Ortho for many years. He did my braces about 10 years ago and my teeth still look awesome! I referred my best friend to him as well for her Invisalign treatment. He is also currently in the final week of my 15 yr old daughters treatment for braces. We love Dr. Nasir and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an Orthodontist. We live in Cypress which is about a 35 min drive from his office. Not exactly super close but we love him and trust his work so we make the drive!!

I spent 2 years taking my son to see Dr. Nasir for braces. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Nasir and his staff. I did get a second opinion before deciding on Dr. Nasir. The difference was night and day. From the very first consultation, Dr. Nasir was very thorough. He takes time to explain everything very clearly and makes sure you understand every facet of treatment. There is no rush. Service is very personalized. Dr. Nasir also expects the same from his staff. I will recommend Dr. Nasir for braces every time.

The staff are friendly and very informative about what will be going on at each appointment. I always get in and out without delay. Dr. Nasir is wonderful! He takes the time with his patients to explain his plan, answer any questions or concerns which made me feel a part of the process. He obviously has a passion for making beautiful smiles and I would not trust anyone else for the job! If I could give 10 stars I would!!

I went in for a consultation and the entire staff was remarkable. It was easy to get an appointment and I got a lesson on orthodontics 101 which was quite helpful in my decision making. There was absolutely no pressure from anyone in the office and once I decide to move forward with correcting my teeth I will definitely use this office. Taking the time to review each step of the process, discuss various options of treatment, and ultimately how each phase will unroll is where Dr. Nasir shines. It is evident that he is well informed on the latest treatments and knows how to translate that in a way for his patients to understand in concrete terms. We left his office with the understanding of not only what would be happening, but when and how and we were able to discuss all of this with others!

Precision orthodontics extraordinaire! Thanks to Dr. Nasir’s expertise, I now have a perfect bite and a better-looking smile. In addition, visits to his office are actually enjoyable! I have been going to Dr. Nasir since May 2017. Every time I have an appointment, I feel a warm welcome from the friendly staff. The wait times have always been low and I am seen promptly. Dr. Nasir is highly knowledgeable and provides answers to questions I have in a very cogent manner. He always goes out of his way to tell me exactly what he and his team are trying to do with my teeth. I started my treatment with Dr. Nasir back in February 2013. From the beginning, Dr. Nasir and his staff have been nothing but professional and pleasant to deal with.
I am on the home stretch finishing almost 6months before the estimated time! This is even after only 7 months into treatment I requested to have my front brackets removed for almost a month for my wedding, Wohoo!!!
He offers payment plans that are reasonable, therefore, making getting that perfect smile affordable.

In 2010 I began researching Orthodontists for my then 13 year old. We live in Bellaire and I knew this would be a monthly trip so we went to 2 different Orthodontists in the area. Both suggested pulling some well-functioning teeth to correct his bite. I wanted my son to have a strong jaw and felt pulling his teeth would weaken the appearance of his jaw.
I had met Dr. Nasir socially and remembered his warm personality and knew I needed to have a consult with someone I could trust. His office was not as close to my home as I would have liked however it has been worth the drive.
