In 2018 my car was t-boned by a driver running a red light. Subsequently, I had back surgery. Several attorneys turned down my case. For this I'm thankful because that's how I found Harvey Ziff . I was surprised at being offered a settlement above treatment reimbursement and--realizing I was green--came to the conclusion that it would behoove me to seek outside advice.
Though this wasn't ultimately a case that required an attorney, Harvey still took the time to give me a free consultation

Mr. Ziff looked out for himself not me his client. Beware he will take a percentage of insurance claims when a lawyer is not even needed and not inform you as basic ethics would require. I found this out later and requested he refund the 40% plus he garnered from the insurance pay out and he refused. Find out if you even need a lawyer and then find an ethical lawyer who actually has a conscious and represents your interests foremost, not his own bank account.

Harvey took great care of my grandmother's personal injury case! She was on a walk when she got jumped at by a dog, and Harvey took the case when everyone else refused. My father was hit by a car while biking to Palo Alto library in Jan 2018. Harvey and daughter took the case in Feb (?) 2018, and resigned in late 2019. The Harveys did nothing else, but a couple calls with me/my dad to have me getting the police report/all medical bills. All calls are encouraging and professional tho. Now none wants to take the case partially due to 2yr limit. Harvey, Adrienne and their staff always made me feel like I was the priority. Adrienne, even if busy, would return a call or email as soon as she was free. Harvey would take a moment to listen to anything I had to say or ask. Even though I literally walked in into the office and just said hi.
