Went to Dr Doan couple years ago. The experience wasn't great. Since there are good reviews on the internet and some of my neighbors recommended her, I wanted to give her a second chance. Went back and it was a big mistake. Her service was absolutely horrible. She had a bad attitude and didn't even smile once the whole time she was in the room. She made me feel she was rushing through the eye exam with no passion and she didn't care at all. I do have to say that her staff was very friendly and nice. Unfortunately Dr Doan was not. I'll never see Dr Doan again.

This experience has been by far probably the worst! My lens was made too small for my frames so every time I cleaned my glasses the lens would pop out. The nose pad broke off immediately. I asked for an exchange Claudia said unable to do so for insurance reasons. I asked for the manager and of course they ate "on vacation " never coming here again bc that is the worst customer service I've ever had! Not even worth a one syar!

Two weeks ago, my husband and I both visited Dr. Derek Le for the first time for our annual vision exams. He was very thorough, not rushed, friendly, and answered all our questions in easy-to-understand terms. This week, my husband received his new lenses. He is so pleased with his improved vision. I went to Vision Source Missouri City to get new glasses because my prescription changed by just a little. The staff was amazing and so helpful in assisting me in picking a pair that made me feel confident. Turn around time to get them was amazing. It’s crazy to think a small change in a prescription can make the difference in clear vision. I’m so happy I didn’t decide to stay with My old pair. This place was helpful with knowledge and patient with me taking forever to find the right pair. Highly recommend.

So it's mid-November and I just threw away my very last old scratchy contact lens. I call up Today's Vision and attempt to order more. I'm told that because I ordered a year supply of contacts and it's only November, I have to wait until January (the next year) to order more and can only pickup single pairs of temporary contacts until then. So if I drop one or need to replace it before Jan then I'm just out of luck until I come pickup another single temporary pair, which I was also told might not be my exact prescription if they don't have it in stock. We had our 1st appointment for routine eye exams (my 2 children and I). We had a superb experience. We were greeted with friendly smiles and check in was easeful and quick. Dr.Doan was beyond professional. She is friendly, sweet, and personal. We loved everything about this location and will continue to keep our routine eye care at this location!! Dr. Doan is by far the best optometrist I have ever visited! I've been her patient now for 4 years and counting. She really takes the time to get to know her patients, she's kind, thoughtful, explains things thoroughly, takes time to answer questions, and never seems to just rush from one person to the next. Her office staff are also very friendly and courteous, and I am so glad I found her.

I went back three times to get my $500.00 glasses with insurance adjusted because I could not use them. Both the doctor and front desk girl told me that it was me and I needed to adjust my eyes. Took the prescription, went to Costco and purchased glasses for $200.00 (no insurance) and the glasses are perfect.

So I'm a first time glasses wearer, I got my glasses after two weeks of waiting because they ordered/ received the wrong lenses, which wasn't a big deal, on Tuesday. They have been hurting my eyes and last night I got a migraine and my eyes were streaming tears, I couldn't look at the sun, my tv, or even my phone, my eyes even hurt when I closed them which kept me up. This morning I couldn't see anything bright at all and it was quite debilitating. I found Today's Vision through yelp and I'm so happy I did. Dr. Kovacs really heard me and helped solve the problem. My eyes had been itching due to wearing the wrong contacts. She figured it out and now my eyes feel amazing! Dr. Kovacs takes a genuine interest in who you are as well. It's refreshing and you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend going to see her as your eye doctor.

I've dreaded going to see optometrists because of the hassle on getting appointments, long wait times and up selling, however this time was different. I woke up one morning with a swollen and very red eye that I knew wasn't pink eye. As a contact lens user I was worried and called to get an emergency appt, they were able to get me in during lunch 10 mins later! Long story short, I ended up having a corneal ulcer in my left eye and irritation in my right eye even though it didn't show signs. Yesterday I went in for my yearly check up and I must say that my experience was very pleasant. First of all as soon as i walked in i was immediately greeted and given the necessary paperwork to get started. After I was done with the paperwork a few minutes later I was called to the back for the initial testing. The young lady who did the initial test was very nice, welcoming and me feel at ease. After the initial test were done she escorted me to the doctors chair and I waited for the doctor. There some miscommunication and apparently the doctor was not ready to see me just yet so she very apologetically

Wow, what an improvement. I had been a patient here before. Dr. Thomas was fine my first few visits, but the last one was not so great. Tests that she suggested but wouldn't explain the results. Upsell to zeiss progressives that I couldn't see well out of but they told me they were fine, it was my problem and I had not adjusted to them yet. They would not check the glasses to verify that the prescription had been filled properly. I decided I needed to find a new eye doctor.

My husband Bruce and I had a good experience here yesterday. we booked back to back appointments. We were taken on time and everyone was helpful and professional. Dr. Kovacs is friendly and knowledgeable and appears to take a genuine interest in her patients. Decent selection of glasses. I'm excited about my new Aviator sunglasses. It was nice to have someone help my husband and me pick out our new frames. We will be back.

I am a new in town & was recommended to see this office. Dr. Kovacs and the staff were amazing! Very friendly and helpful with the whole process. Dr. Kovacs explained each test and was very thorough in addressing my concerns that previous doctors had me worried about. I never had any doctor take a few extra minutes to explain things to me so I can fully understand. And to top it all off, the whole staff helped me pick new frames that I have gotten so many compliments on!
I am definitely recommending this office to everyone I know!

New owners and staff! Doctor Kovacs and her staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! They have brand new technology including Optos retinal screening (no need for drops and dilated eyes) and were able to order the exact frames I wanted. Super nice people and they worked with my insurance to knock as much money as possible off my total bill.

My appointment was on January 14, 2014, My Mom had had a good experience here, so I took her at her recommendation rather than wait for an appointment at the University of Houston Eye Institute. My mother also told me that this doctor was affiliated with UEI, so I felt relatively comfortable making the appointment.

Don't come here. It's terrible. They try and gig you for unnecessary tests which aren't covered by your insurance, and then make you feel bad when you decline. They're rude and unprofessional. They have zero selection for glasses and if you decline to have their expensive tests, they won't bother to dilate your eyes. I'm reporting this to my insurance as well. I got to my favorite glasses store to purchase glasses (eye contact on westheimer ROCKS!) and realized this idiotic place didn't even bother to give me my prescription. They rolled up a bunch of receipts

Ugh, horrible experience here. I found one of the customer service staff to be very friendly, but everyone else was rude and unfriendly. The doctor pretends to be friendly, but is very judgemental and lacks good "bedside" manner. I felt like she didn't hear me and didn't want to help me.
