The Ruby Allocation features two bottles of our Ruby Port once per year in November; just in time for the holidays. The Ruby Allocation comes in a specialty gift box, which will include recommended pairings and interesting details about our port. Club members will receive ground shipping included on the release.
Executive Chef Peter Janiak hand-selects from our award-winning wine collections to develop a seasonal pairing menu like no other. This Nationally acclaimed five-course fine dining experience highlights Sonoma County's diverse agricultural and culinary traditions. Tried to make reservations 6 months, 2 months, 1 month, 2 weeks and 1 week in advance. Never answered or called back. Got to the winery for a glass at 4:15- when they close at 5. We are all super respectful of businesses time, we asked for any service and they wouldn’t give us a tasting, glass or bottle to even sit outdoors. They even locked the front doors at 4:15 where you couldn’t enter- although they were serving others glasses at 4:30. Please just save your time and go to VBJ where they were literally the KINDEST humans to ever exist, even offered to drive us to our next spot and we’re

We were excited to try this place after seeing the great reviews. My girlfriend and I came in without a reservation on a Monday afternoon. Only served tastings by the glass which was no issue but they cut us off after one glass and the server was standoffish and rude. It was our first winery of the day and we were excited to taste their selection as the wine was really spectacular. We got the vibe the server didn’t want us there and it was disappointing. Beautiful views and a bit out of the city.

We did the wine pairing on July 24th and it was an amazing experience. Both wine and food are simply delicious and the pairing choices are perfect. Our favorite is the 2015 Port that was paired with the dessert. It is taking place on a terrace right next to the vineyards of St Francis. Service was perfect including the quick chat with the chef at the end. All Covid measures are implemented so it can be a safe experience.

Great reds and whites. My favorite??? Old Vine Zin! Try the cheese pairing. Fun events for locals such as Movie Night, Concerts on the Lawn, Blessing of the Animals. The building, with is early California design, fits in nicely in the Sonoma Valley, unlike the ego based winery down the street. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Beautiful views of the Mayacama Mountains reminds me of the Hawaiian Islands. If you are local or from out of town, this winery is a must visit.
