Services
The staff of Dangler Funeral Homes is devoted to your family's complete care before, during and after the funeral of your loved one. We uphold our commitment to excellence in planning meaningful, appropriate, and affordable services that truly honor your loved one. We encourage you to visit our locations and meet our staff.
No matter if a death is sudden, or if it something that was a long time coming, the loss of a loved one makes us feel emotional and overwhelmed. No amount of preparation can fully prepare you for the loss of a loved one. When you are in a heightened emotional state, even the most basic decisions can seem staggering.
Traditionally, a burial service involves a visitation, followed by a funeral mass/service in a church, or other place of worship. The casket is typically present at both of these events, and it is your decision on whether to have the casket open or not. You have the option of having the remains interred (earth burial), or it may be entombed in a crypt inside a mausoleum (above ground burial).
Giving a meaningful, moving eulogy can be a nerve-wracking situation for even the most accomplished public speaker, but it need not be. How can you summarize somebody's life in a few short minutes, while being both somber and funny at the same time? Writing and delivering a eulogy is a therapeutic tool to help deal with your grief, and being chosen to give a eulogy is an honor and should be treated that way.

I can not explain the exceptional, compassionate and caring of the entire Dangler organization. Losing a loved one is always difficult but one is hit especially hard when it is your spouse.
Their knowledge of Jewish tradition and laws with respect to the care of, preparation and guarding of the body was exceptional and left me with a comfortable feeling.
While most of us avoid pre-planning for ones final exit from earth, and rely solely on reputation, in the case of Dangler Funeral Home, their reputation is well deserved and I would not hesitate to use them at this time of sorrow

Dangler Funeral Home was extremely thorough and handled every detail, highlighting items we would have missed to suggesting how best to handle more obvious items. Their compassion, professionalism and candid input on needs versus “nice to haves”, pricing and suggestions on current practices was invaluable. The process was seamless and we couldn’t have been happier with their services!

When my father passed on 8/4/21 we were wondering how we should proceed and who we should do it with. After calls to several funeral homes we decided to work with the people at Dangler Funeral Home. We couldn’t have made a better decision. Every aspect was handled with professionalism and kindness. Christine Dangler was a joy to deal with and took special interest in learning about my father and my family and what was important to us. She talked to us and learned how baseball was important to us and at final service at the funeral home prior to the funeral at the church, she worked in a poem

Our family has used the services of Dangler Funeral Home on a number of occasions. Obviously we have always been happy with their professionalism, warmth and compassion. Samantha, our director, handled all arrangements without missing a beat. My entire family was very appreciative and our memorial service for our mom went off without a hitch.
Thanks to Sam and Betty, and Kip and Christine.

The staff at Dangler are amazing. Samantha is knowledgeable, professional and efficient. She is also caring and genuine. Samantha went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled perfectly and put our minds at ease when we needed it the most. We lost two dear family members during this Covid crisis and Dangler handled both funerals only four months apart. We can’t thank them enough for all they did for us. Steve and Ilona Budofsky

Professional, friendly and welcoming staff. They arranged a beautiful celebration of life with plenty of tissues and water on hand. Something I found very respectable was the arrangement of pamphlets by the door with explanations and tips on how to grieve loss in many different scenarios. The entire place was very clean and had plenty of seating for large families such as mine. Thank you for bringing us comfort during such uneasy times.

Nothing is harder than parting with a loved one, but Dangler Funeral Home, and Kip Dangler made the journey toward healing so much easier. He was very empathetic regarding my family's loss and was very responsive. He never tried to up-sell me anything. No question was left unanswered. No issue was too difficult to work through. Kip was with us 100%.
Robert was fantastic as well. He was there to open the door and helped me with picking up the flowers after the wake.
Everything was done seamlessly. The funeral home itself is immaculate and dignified. It is completely handicapped accessible

We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to Samantha who recently handled all the funeral arrangements for our husband and father. She took care of the many details, answered all of our questions and made a very sad and difficult time for us a little easier. She explained what had to be done with patience, kindness and was sensitive and considerate of our feelings and was always available when we needed her. Thank you Samantha. Emily P. and Family

Dangler Funeral Home in Morris Plains showed my family the deepest respect and was very sensitive at our sad time. Samantha worked closely with us to insure that our mother's Funeral was dignified and personal. They were available at all hours of the day and made this time of grief go very smoothly. I recommend this Funeral home 100% if anyone needs one.
