Restaurant review -

We were here to celebrate a friend's birthday, so we were going to have a great time no matter what - which we did, but unfortunately the wine and food did not add to the experience.

First, you can't order a tasting flight at the restaurant which is the reason we all wanted to visit. That is absolutely bizarre! Just offer a flight!
Second, the waitress recommendations were off, and several of us did not finish the wine glasses we ordered.
Third, the $60 charcuterie board was a pretty sad display. As an example, there were full rolls of bread on the board. If you

We just had an amazing time both on the Avensole tasting patio and then at the restaurant afterwards. We had a group of 10 of us gathering on a recent beautiful Friday afternoon. The staff was all very welcoming and went out of their way to put sofas and chairs together for our group. Our server was knowledgeable and directed us with tastes of various wines based on our preferences. My husband and I ended up ordering a bottle of the "Susan" (sauvignon blanc), which as a new release, wasn't even on the menu yet. Others in our group did a flight of reds which was beautifully presented (see pic!)

This review is for the restaurant rather than the wine tasting. We had reservations for a party of 10 on a Saturday. The space is gorgeous with a lighted tree in the center of the space. It was winter, so they had clear tarps to shield us from the winter. In fact, they had heaters all around, which actually made me too warm. I was sweating from how warm it got.

To start, we all had a drink. I opted for the Lavender Martini ($14), which was tasty. It's also very pretty and aesthetic for the gram. Unfortunately, the food took a lot longer to come out (over 45 minutes). This is where this place

Overall the wine here was great however, the service is what has made this place a 3 star. I would recommend you get premier red wine flights as it tasted a lot better than the white and red wine flights. The premier wines are all well balanced and tasty. The scenery is Gorgeous and makes for a good afternoon view. I ended up getting a bottle of Avensole Legacy which I felt was the smoothest and well balanced. It was unfortunate that the service was slow and unattentative.

The view is beautiful scenery is great. The best thing about this place is Christine she is wonderful. I wasn't too happy with one of the wines and she made sure she brought me one that she thought I would like and it was much better. Their wine is a little young if you love red but the scenery is gorgeous and she is a true gem !!

They have a wine tasting for every palate and a great food menu, along with indoor/outdoor seating area. I ordered the mixed flight and the presentation of the spiral wine glasses and their view of the the adjacent rose garden was a beautiful backdrop to drink to.

Also, the service here was 10/10 and they gave us some great recommendations for where to go next. Out of all the wineries we visited, a $20 tasting was an amazing price for the top notch experience.

A winery we were out one early afternoon recommended this as a next spot. Wines were good, tasting menu was simple, food/snack menu was okay. It's on a beautiful property and we walked over to where the mini gazebo was and were shooed away which was disappointing. Parking is easy and there's indoor and outdoor spaces to do the tasting, and there was live music when we were there which was a nice addition!

Great winery to have lunch at. Fantastic service and warm atmosphere. The only thing is you need to go to the tasting room for a flight of wine. They don't offer that in the restaurant. All in all we had a fantastic time and will definitely come back.
Enjoyed the 2015 Solea.

LOCATION: Gorgeous place and beautiful "pond" with water lily flowers and roses. If you come during the summer, it'll take your breath away. No wonder there's always a wedding here. Every view from the exterior of the property is lovely and it makes you feel good just being there.

Plenty of places to take photos and lots of room inside and outside with a ballroom and gazebo for weddings. The wine wall inside is lovely, but the seating area by the couches looks very cheap with tchotchkes galore and looks more like a Michael's or Hobby Lobby than an elegant winery.

There are so many good wineries in Temecula and Avensole Winery is not an exception!

The winery is located on the Rancho California road that goes through the main part of our wine country. Once you drive in to the property you will find good number of parking spaces. Their buildings are situated on the hill with perfect views. Also the grounds are nicely designed which allow you to walk around and enjoy some water features.

I reserved table at the restaurant ahead of time. Checking in and getting seated was easy and fast. We didn't have to wait long for our waiter who was friendly, knowledgeable

Absolutely love this winery. Me and my boo came here last year but could only sit and enjoy ourselves for a short period of time because they were having a wedding. So, this visit we made sure we came in ample time to enjoy ourselves. Not too fond of the seating. It's kind of uncomfortable sitting at the high tables. It would be nice if they had more of the comfortable couch type seats.

We ordered the Carmel Apple something or other (sorry, my memory is bad) and OMG, the drink was so yummy. We had several a piece before we headed out. If you are in the Temecula area, definitely make this

If you're looking for a more relaxed and non crowded spot, this is the place for you! The staff here was quite accommodating, quick to respond and super dog friendly. My boyfriend and I came with our dog and chose to sit on the patio near the water fountain. The scenery here is perfect for a quick getaway date and I cannot imagine how it could look any better at night with the lights and greenery. They have every type of wine suitable for your taste buds and you can tell the workers enjoy working here. I would definitely come back for the wine flights! Parking was spacious and I believe they

My girlfriend was looking for a serene, verdant spot to enjoy the lovely Temecula sun, and the gorgeous outdoor tasting area was the perfect spot to soak up the beautiful view. The large, open space with dangling lights make for a great spot to catch up with friends or host a small, private wedding. It was so gorgeous for a little getaway that it tops the list of charming and gorgeous venues in this area.

The wine flight came in 5 glasses and served from a few award-winning batches. From the red flight, the 2015 syrah grabbed my attention with a richer, more velvet notes, while the solea dried

We were at Miramonte Winery right down the street, and decided to check out another winery since we were out in Temecula.

we opted to sit inside, since it was blistering hot outside. Yay for an air conditioned room. We ended up getting two wine tasting, 1 mixed flight and the other a completely red flight. Nothing too crazy, i believe they were roughly 20 bucks for 5 flights. They are served in a nice looking metal stem.
Most of them were great tasting, but i forgot which red one i had was a bit bitter tasting.

We also wanted to get a meat/cheese plate. I believe this plate was closer to 30

I was at Avensole a few months ago, but I’m just now getting around to writing the review. I had a great time with a couple of my friends. Christian was our waiter, and he did an incredible job making sure that we had a great time and had wine that we liked. My only suggestion would be that the location put a sign up warning you that there will be an early closing time due to a wedding. We were rushed out kinda of abruptly with no warning when we got there that we would need to leave early. Many other wineries have a banner that states “wedding today” in the driveway. I don’t think it would

This is a Avensole RESTAURANT Review.

We came here to celebrate a couple's wedding anniversary and left with mixed opinions. Some in our group loved the food, while others were underwhelmed.

Avensole is a small boutique winery, that is more of a wedding venue. While we were here, the parking was packed with bridal members getting ready for a photography shoot. See photos. It was kind of crazy.

We called ahead to make reservations, which we would recommend btw, and were seated promptly. The restaurant's bar area was empty, but it affords you a great view of the glass kitchen.

Had such an amazing time with my girlfriends here! The staff were so friendly & very helpful. I had the Chicken Club sandwich and though it sounds like a basic sandwich, it definitely wasn't! The chicken was huge and so so juicy! FULL of flavor! The pesto and avocado topped it off with the smoothness of the textures and taste! I wish I could eat it every day!

Not only was the food amazing, but so was the scenery! After lunch we walked down to the tasting room and vineyards to snap some pics! Doesn't it look like a gorgeous painting? It was just the perfect day & perfect weather

This place was the perfect winery & restaurant to end a nice wonderful wine tasting day. We went close to closing time & thankfully we were still able to get some tastings. Eventually we made their way into the restaurant & it did not disappoint.
Unfortunately one of the greeters was kinda sassy with us when we arrived, stating we wouldn't be able to get seated without reservations & that the bar only served appetizers... so we decided to wait at the bar for dinner time. The bartender there was SO helpful and cleared up for us that we could actually order food.

First visit to Avensole Winery and we decided to grab lunch at their restaurant. Had a reservation and arrived a few minutes late. The entrance to the winery was well marked and parking within the property was plenty so fairly easy to find a spot. The have a large property with a restaurant and separate areas for tasting as well as a members lounge.
The restaurant had both indoor and outdoor seating and was very roomy and nice. We were seated promptly and service was generally friendly and efficient. The menu is extensive, and vegan and vegetarian friendly.
We had a great, relaxed meal. The drinks

Absolutely stunning restaurant and most importantly amazing food. It was probably the best meal we’ve had in Temecula. Oysters were fresh and tasty. But the prime ribeye was the star of the show. It was a beautiful plate with potatoes baked and fried and the most delicious mushrooms on a bed of asparagus. I had every intention of taking a picture but when that plate came to the table I forgot about everything. Nicolas, our waiter, gave us the best service. Thank you Nicolas ! We will definitely come back.

It is probably a tie on whether you should come here for the romantic setting and views or the food/wine! Maybe we were influenced on the romance front because when we were walking from our car we stopped to see the end of a wedding with military uniforms and swords forming the bride groom walkway.

For those seeking outdoor dining and social distances, the restaurant is set up very well along with no paper menus. We haven't had squash blossoms in forever so maybe that influenced why they tasted so yummy. To quote my wife "yay - no sand in the scallops" . They were perfectly

Such a nice experience. A friend and I drove out for lunch on a Friday, and the winery was definitely on the quiet side. We were seated right away, and our server was amazing.

We started with two appetizers, the roasted cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. Both were tasty and interesting, especially the cauliflower purée on the roasted cauliflower dish.

Then we moved on to the main dish. My friend had a glorious looking burger, and I had a gluten free flatbread. It was a little heavier than I'd expected (tons of cheese, so more like a pizza).

We finished by sharing the flourless chocolate

We stopped by for wine tasting, and got the sweet wine flight. All of them were amazing, I can't even pick one favorite! The views were incredible, the whole area smelled amazing like roses. The water fountains were a nice touch, it was quiet enough where you could hear the water. Staff was informative. They have a restaurant as well which looked delicious.

Parking seems a bit tight, we came at a rather quiet time but it seems like it would be packed on a busy day. Overall, a must visit when in Temecula!

After living just a block or so away I finally made it to Avensole! I loved it so much I've back a few times. The waitstaff is amazing. The food is on point. I'm vegan and they have a few fabulous options.
The cauliflower curry is so delicious, the Brussels without cheese are addicting and the impossible burger was out of this world.
My only suggestion is they need some sort of reservation confirmation text messaging service!
I called so many times to see about same night service and was turned away. Finally we just showed up and I was shocked at how many open tables there was.

Very nice, open and spacious patio. Great atmosphere for drinks a dinner.
This was my second visit here and it was on Valentines day. They offered a scaled down menu consisting of a 3-course meal for the special day.
The food was good, but portions were a little small for the money. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked well, but I'm not a fan of the bordelaise sauce. It tasted like a thick gravy.
My date had the lobster risotto. It was very light on actual lobster. But it tasted well.

Awesome winery, delicious wines from whites to reds. A wonderful atmosphere, and quite beautiful environment from the inside to the outside. A wonderful outdoor space for seating, fire pits and music. The restaurant has absolutely fabulous food from their brussels sprouts to their salads to their salmon to their pasta dishes. The service was excellent and I can’t wait to go back again.
