Outside the home, we will check the exterior walls, roof, driveway, deck, etc., then we will move inside to examine the walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows.

Tri State Home Inspections inspected my home twice during the construction, and I was more than satisfied in both cases. Ken B was very thorough and professional and explained what he was doing and what he was finding very clearly. He answered all my questions. In each case the report he generated was well written, well summarized, and supported by photographs.
They were very responsive and cooperative. I had to reschedule the second inspection on short notice, and they accommodated my requested reschedule date.

Ken of Tri-State Home Inspections was recommended to us from neighbors who had home issues and hired him. True to their word, Ken was very thorough and professional, spending over 3 hours carefully inspecting ALL of the interior and exterior parts of our house and taking extensive notes and pictures of any problems. He also explained to me what was wrong and what our builders did correctly, and his 68-page summary was exactly what we needed to give to our home builder so they can fix everything within our 1-year warranty period. We could not have been this thorough on our own, so thanks very much

Had a great experience with my pre-drywall and final inspection. My inspector, Ken, was responsive, professional, and did a great job of helping me understand what was observed, why it’s a problem, and provided all evidence and manufacturer’s specifications so I could effectively argue those thing be addressed. In addition, he went out of his way to accommodate my final inspection. Great job.

Ken was was very thorough and checked all the systems in our home. Even crawled up into the attic to check on roof trusses and look for leaks (no small feat). Found some items that needed fixing that no one else had found. He's honest, experienced, and knows Sussex County code very well. We highly recommend him!

Kenny was great. Our appointment was for 8 am and he was early. He conducted and pre drywall inspection and came up with a short list of some structural defects that need to be addressed. Money well spent and we will be using them again for the final inspection before we close!

I recently used the services of Tri-State Home Inspections, inc. Eric, Espada, the inspector, arrived on time and ready to do the inspection. He arrived in a vehicle that displayed the company name and number. He was dressed professionally, and had all of the necessary equipment in order to perform a thorough inspection of my home. The inspection was indeed thorough, and he worked from 10:00am to approximately 12:45pm. Upon completion of the inspection, he showed us the results that were to appear in his report. He sent a full written report to me later the same evening. I highly recommend Eric

Eric did our home inspection. He was able to get to areas I am unable to get to. Epically roofs and attic space.
I chose Tri-State because of the finds he found at my neighbors house that were major issues. Although I only had 19 minor issues today, many would escalate in time and become major issues. He was professional,
courteous, and above all knowledgeable. I suggest you pick his brains for understanding home ownership. It was worth every penny and will easily get my return on repairs of the home owners warranty
