A wood destroying insect inspection is a visual inspection to determine the presence or absence of visual evidence of wood destroying insects. Wood-destroying insects include termites, carpenter ants, bark beetles and woodborers, and powderpost beetles. This inspection will also point out potential issues that could be considered conducive to the existence of wood destroying insects.
Drinking water comes from a variety of sources including public water systems, private wells, or bottled water. Ensuring safe and healthy drinking water may be as simple as turning on the tap from an EPA-regulated public water system. Other water sources may need a water filter, a check on water fluoridation, or an inspection to ensure a septic tank is not too close to a private well.
According to the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB), radon is a radioactive gas that has been found in homes all over the United States. It comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock, and water and gets into the air you breathe. Radon typically moves up through the ground to the air above and into your home through cracks and other holes in the foundation.

Joe was very easy to work with and a very nice, low key guy. He responded to calls and emails before the inspection, answered all our questions, took the inspection seriously, and did a thorough job. We don't live in the area (yet), and he was accommodating with our schedule. He is very knowledgeable, and since we were buying an older home, it was reassuring to have his master electrician background to be sure the house was safe. He takes lots of photos (even of the crawl space) and makes a lot of notes so you have a full report of the house and needed repairs (imminent ones and long term ones

This was the 6th home we've built, and 26th residence. We know a little bit about inspecting homes! Because this was the first non-Amish built home, we were a bit concerned about how the build would go. Joe did a terrific job and was very thorough! He is pleasant to work with, accommodating with schedule, and coordinates with the builder along the way. We had Joe for three inspections through construction, and each time he added great value!

We hired Bayside Home Inspections LLC because we lived in a different state and needed someone to keep an eye on our new home construction, Joe became our eyes. We hired him for the phase inspections because we couldn’t be onsite all the time. Joe was very professional and an honest businessman.

Joe is great to work with. He is knowledgeable, professional, honest, and prompt. We used him for our 11 month warranty inspection and didn't think we would have too many issues. Joe found a few things we were not aware of and were able to address them with our home warranty service provider with great results. His report is thorough and very detailed with photos to document issues and particular areas of concern. I would highly recommend Joe for any home inspection.
