Services
Who wouldn't feel good about themselves? With consistent training, students gain confidence in their abilities and what they can accomplish. Imagine surviving three rounds of sparring with bigger kids or finally perfecting a jump spin hook after struggling with the technique for a month. When children feel good about themselves, their behavior improves, and they often do better at home and school.
We're a member of the World Taekwondo Federation. Our Taekwondo classes are designed to teach students all the correct forms and kicks necessary to advance to the next level. Through the Korean martial art of Taekwondo our students (co-ed, 5-years and up) learn discipline and gain self-confidence as they progress from a beginner white belt to an accomplished black belt.
US Martial Arts has a great summer camp for your kids. We focus on outdoor sports, hiking, physical fitness, and include regular study time each week. There are numerous activities from your children to give them a great summer to remember. Of course, martial arts instruction is always part of the program.
For us at US Martial Arts, Taekwondo, Brazilian Ju Jitsu, and the like are ways of life, not something we practice on weekends and then do something completely different with ourselves afterward. There's so much to learn about what the Asians have discovered in the art of self-defense as well as self-discipline, and we live for that lifestyle.
As long as the CDC and Anne Arundel County guidelines require it, students and instructors (and anyone else who enters the building) must wear a mask. We've reconfigured our school so students can be 6' from each other on the training mat and at their desks. Stickers on the mat and lobby floor help remind everyone to keep a safe distance from each other will still having fun and learning.

Very disappointed in US Martial Arts. When questioned why they still charge a full month for December for the before and after school program even though they are not open and providing a service for a full week, they get angry at you and tell you because its in your contract. Ted is rude and tries to intimidate and threaten you. I don't care how good of a program they provide, I don't want my kids being around this type of person.

Please be careful when enrolling your child into this establishment. Their business and contractual practices make this a money trap for parents. While their contract is very generic they are all about taking your money and refuse to withdraw you from the contract because they are all about money. The contract which should have a withdrawal clause forces (and it doesn't) you to pay for services they don't provide when you withdraw. They will also begin legal threats and harassing emails.Pathetic follow school schedule which doesn't lend itself to support working families specially

As a word of caution, please stay away from this business. It is a Money trap. If you’re looking for before and after school care this isn’t the place for you. They follow a school schedule so they are closed when schools are closed so if you’re a working family it doesn’t help you at all. There is no withdrawal clause on their contract so you’re forced to pay even if they don’t render services. Please go somewhere else. There are far better, less expensive options in the area that actually have sound business practices and are supportive of working families. This business is a contractual

I loved it, my child was bullied at school, she was so shy when she first started attending the program, I did see a big change in her after a couple months she became more outgoing. She would cry every morning when I dropped her off at school, all that stopped after attending the program. She stood up for herself and was not afraid to speak up when bullied.

I sent my 4 year old son to this establishment for Summer Camp starting in June 2019. He was born in January 2015, so he will not be 5 until next year. Before registering I had a phone conversation with one of the staff members. I specifically asked if they were sure that they accept preschool age children for camp. He reassured me that they have in the past. I explained that my son was in preschool at a center but would start pre-k at a private school in the Fall and was told that was fine. I visited the place twice without my son to obtain paperwork and to drop off the paperwork and immunization

This place is such a gem. The staff is great with the kids and my child absolutely LOVES it. The instructor is very relatable and knows his stuff. He takes his time and is extremely patient with each child providing them with individual care regardless of how long it takes. At the end of each session he makes sure to uplift the students and let them know they need to work on the individual things he has mentioned in order for them to perform and more forward individually. Ms. Adrienne is amazing with the before and after care students and even during the summer with summer camp. She keeps the kids

My son it's been coming here for a few months now. He absolutely loves it. He does not want to miss a day. Everyone is so helpful. My son enjoys exercising early in the morning before school. He enjoys classes, the trips to the library and Friday's play day. He is very happy. I have a very active 5 year old he needs and loves to stay busy, the best part is the he enjoys every minute he spends here at US MARTIAL ARTS. I highly recommend.

I love this place and so does my son they have wonderful instructors. I love to watch there class because you never know what kind for interesting thing their gonna be learning or the creative games they play on fridays my son never wants to leave early and i think that's a good sign. i will be bringing my son back for summer camp this year
