Over twenty five years ago I left the Mayo Clinic to join Dr. Dempsey in Tucson. At that time, the practice was The Plastic Surgery Institute of Southern Arizona. Just over a year after I joined the practice, Dr. Dempsey was tragically killed in an airplane accident. After the loss of Dr. Dempsey, it seemed silly to have an "Institute" of just one person, myself.
Our newest addition to the Perfection Team, Casey Kay, recently returned to his hometown after living and working in China for the past five years. The younger son of Melinda and Dr. Kay, Casey graduated from Trinity University in 2011 with a double-bachelor's degree in International Business and Mandarin Chinese.
Dr. Peter Kay has been practicing cosmetic surgery in Tucson, AZ for more than 25 years. He is a Board-Certified plastic surgeon as well as a member of the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, he is a former consultant at the Mayo Clinic. Along with the team at Perfection Plastic Surgery, Dr. Peter Kay provides an individualized approach to patient care.

I had injections into my lips twice. The first time, my lips looked terrible - my bottom lip was crooked on one side and my top lip looked like nothing had been done. They offered me a free treatment to fix the problems which I took advantage of and now one side of my cupid's bow is higher than the other side so I have to try to fill in the lower side with a lip pencil and lipstick which doesn't look natural. My bottom lip is still slanted, almost disappearing on one side. I'm sure they would have offered me another "do-over" but I did not ask due to the time and pain

I currently go here for skincare - I've always had a challenging time preventing breakouts & keeping my skin hydrated at the same time and it is EXCESSIVELY difficult to accomplish both in this desert heat! After just a few visits and a change in products to what they recommended me to my skin has never looked better!!!
The staff here goes out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable in office & accommodating towards your scheduling needs- I had one crazy work week where I had to move one of my appointments several times, but they had no difficulty
