Mixed feelings on the company. The gate looks cool and feels substantial and was built to our specs BUT we got multiple rust spots on it (due to the paint job) the week it was installed. The customer service/communication with them is just not good. And they never showed up to fix the rust spots when scheduled and ignored my last email. I guess they got their money, so that’s all that mattered. Maybe they will at least tell me what paint they used so I can fix our brand new gate before the rust continues to eat away at it.

We had custom metal baby gates installed on the top and bottom of our stairs and although the work turned out good the customer service and mess left behind was absolutely unacceptable.
Apparently they had to do welding inside the home and that caused black dust to go flying all over the house. They did mention they needed to weld but they never said it would be indoors and it would cause this sort of mess. The owner did say that they cleaned up after the work was done but as you can see in the photos the black dust began to smear all over the light colored floors as we began to mop. It was everywhere

I usually do not write reviews. But this time I like to give 5 star review may be 6 star to Ross Metal works. Because Barry did an excellent job in our home installing door and window grills which are so beautiful. They are very professional and friendly. We wanted to change the color of the grill after installing. Barry gladly removed them and repainted. He is that awesome.

When I bought my house 15 years ago, my best friend recommended Barry. She uses him a lot for her own home and recommended him to me and others for iron gates, stairwells, scroll work, etc. He was a smaller shop then and could provide personalized service.

I hired him to do my staircase railings and he did a great job. He worked with my contractor and custom made the railings and handrails.

Fast forward ten years and I am building an outdoor paradise and I hired Barry to build a custom iron gate and custom scroll work for the kitchen area. This time, it was harder to get the sales person

I ordered this Customized handrail for my new home!! Love love it!! Thank you Barry for making my dream come true! Julian and Richard did a great job installing it.

Ross Metals Works recently installed burglar bars in my home. The burglars bars were custom built to my taste. I am impressed with the quality of work put into fabricating the burglar bars. I feel they went above and beyond to ensure that i was completely satisfied. I will definitely recommend them to all my family and friends.

Barry Ross and his team are top shelf. Barry worked closely with us during the design of the wrought iron work for our new home in Bellaire. Ross Metal Works provided drawings of the work and happily made some minor changes to the designs prior to construction. We are very pleased with their design of our front gate and Juliet Balcony iron work. The installation team was polite and professional in their work. The follow-up after installation was amazing. When the owner of the company comes by to make sure your heavy gate is working properly, that says a lot about a company. We highly recommend

I ordered customized bed frame and mirror frame from them. With what I have paid, I think I have gotten more than I had expected. The owner, Barry helped me with all the design. The office lady, Olivier helped me scheduling the delivery and installation date. I was so surprised, when I saw my bed and mirror. They were much prettier than I could imagine! I am so happy my nephew recommended them to me!
