It was a late Friday night and I had a long day at work. I ordered 3 pizzas from another pizza place (Rich's) and the severely let me down. On my way home, I came across Tony's Villa Rosa. Wow, Tony was awesome and got my pizza's ready in record time. While waiting Tony, his dad, and I had a great conversation. They were so accommodating and social. Oh and the pizza was amazing. True and authentic Chicago pizza. Tony's Villa Rosa is my new pizza home.
I read a couple reviews and would recommend giving them a second chance.

The food is spectacularly mediocre. The fries, mushrooms and breaded zucchini tasted more like shrimp than what they were supposed to. The beef sandwich is just okay. I am one and done with this place.

Can't believe all the bad reviews! Ten years and never a problem. People that don't like it probably like the fake pizza at little cesars. This is high quality Italian pizza!!!

The worst pizza in Chicago period. I will never order from this place again. The pizza was supposed to be16 not 18 inch it was greasy and a mess. Forget my chicken strips and way over priced. I will stay with aurelio's & rosati's at least they know how to make a pizza.

Best pizza in the area. We ordered pizza and chicken strips for our Halloween party as we do every Halloween. Everything was cooked perfectly, always delicious. When the girl on the phone said it would be ready in 30 minutes I thought "yeah Right!" I was calling at dinner time. Guess what. It was ready.

I'm glad I didn't let the bad reviews stop me from ordering. This is hands-down the BEST pizza around! Staff is very, very nice! I ordered a pizza last week for the first time. My neighbor was always bragging about Tony's and I thought I'd try it. My son and I are hooked! We have had pizza and bread sticks so far, but are going to branch out and try some dinners next. Please try them! Pizza does NOT skimp on toppings or taste!

The bad reviews are definitely warranted!! I ordered a slice of pizza they got it out of a refrigerator, it looked old. They put it in the pizza oven to warm it up and after removing it used their bare hands to put in a small box. I know people use their hands but their were touching other unclean things. The place looks run down where they cook and not clean. They used a filthy knife to cut my slice hence the reason for all the black stuff where the slice was cut. This was a cheese pizza! It looks like toppings where added no that's dirt. The cheese looked cheap. Please trust the bad reviews

This place is my favorite pizza in town. They use a lot of toppings and cheese, and on Tuesdays they have a $10 large pizza which is a great deal because of how much they put on it. Tony is an awesome man who is always up for a quick chat when you walk in. The place feels like home!

I ordered a pizza at 5:47 got it at 7:38!! Joe the owner hung up after asking for a discount! The baked mosticiolli we ordered tasted rancid, the pizza was undercooked and they didn't bring the correct pop! We have ordered from this place for 10+ years and they will NEVER get my business again! Rude as hell to their customer base. Do yourself a favor and order your pizza from another pizza place!!

Okay so we love this place! My boyfriend used to order all the time from the one on Archer Ave and was so happy when we found one out here. We usually order a Godfather and stuffed crust and have not been disappointed. I don't know why they have such bad reviews, it's a great Chicago pizza. Every time we go in to pick up our order there's always a friendly greeting and you feel like family. I would deffinitly recommend this place!

For a while now I've wondering why my husband and I keep ordering pizzas from this place.....well that ends today. Another burnt pizza another wrong order it's just too much.

Folks if you haven't ordered pizza Villa Rosa...... don't.......trust me it's a waste of money and it's high priced and they burn it quite often.

Oh yes and please don't call them and complain because they will take it out on your pizza .

Absolutely horrible. Super salty. The last three times the pizza was horrible. The guy is super crazy, he yells at the workers and if you complain to him he yells back that it was not his fault? Who does that??

I wanted to like this place so much. Its right down the street. I had tried it years ago and thought it was average pizza. I thought i saw some new items on the menu and , like i said i wanted to like this place, so i ordered some food a pizza snd a calzoni. I was told 30 min. Got there 35 min later had to wait. I asked whete my order was no one knew. Turns out they sent it out for delivery. So after waiting a extra 35 min along with 5 other people i got my money back and will never step foot in that place again. And by the grumblings of the people in there im not alone!!! Dont wast your time ho

Worst customer service. The company deleted their Facebook page after receiving several negative reviews. Trying to hide the truth? Your service is horrendous. You are not looking out for your customers especially the ones who have been faithful to you for years and years. Shame on you. Highly suggest taking your business elsewhere if you care about the way you are served especially when the mistake was in their hands and they did not resolve the issue properly. No business from me or my family.

I live just across the pond from Tony's and have only recently discovered this little gem. Joe, the owner, is a witty, experienced, talented, hardworking owner/manager/chef. He has been around a long time and dates back to the fabulous La Pergola in "the Heights." I usually order pizza, and watch it being made, baking, and cut, and, then, slid carefully into the carton.

I have ordered lasagna and different combos besides my usual Monday-Wednesday special he runs on a large sausage and cheese for 10 dollars (or so). It's all good, especially the pineapple and Canadian bacon
