At New York City Nutrition by Lorraine Kearney, we focus on helping you create long term sustainable changes by focusing on the 6 Pillars of Health and Wellness: Nutrition, Mindset, Stress, Sleep, Gut Health, and Activity. This empowers you to understand your relationship with food, how lifestyle factors can influence food choices and can lead to identifying areas in your life that may be preventing you from reaching your goals.

When we focus on the Pillars, combine it with nutrition education and pair it with problem solving techniques, we can uncover a deeper sense of self, ready to create change without fear of failure, and freedom from feelings and emotions created by the diet industry. PCOS had left me feeling like I could never lose the excess weight that I had been struggling so hard to lose.

Francesca, MS, CNS, CDN is a certified NYS dietician nutritionist and holds a M.S. in Nutrition and Integrative Health. She prides herself on educating, inspiring, and empowering her clients. Francesca believes in a holistic approach to optimal living and considers other wellness factors such as sleep, exercise, environmental exposures, and stress levels to create an individualized nutrition plan.
Nicole is a Registered Dietitian and Certified LEAP Therapist based in New York. She holds both a Bachelors in Nutrition and Dietetics, and a Masters in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. Nicole approaches health in a holistic manner, believing that all aspects of life affect one's health and wellness, with nutrition being the foundation.
We get that creating lifestyle changes and understanding what your body needs to be nourished can be confusing and stressful, so we have created our signature Meal Planning Membership. Our Planning for Success Membership is not like other meal planning subscriptions. Not only do you get scientifically created meal plans delivered to your inbox weekly, including breakfast, lunch, dinner + snacks.

The gut is so critical to the functions of the digestive and immune systems that it is referred to as our body's second brain! You know the old mantra "You are what you eat"? Not only is it true, but what you eat also influences which types of bacteria, fungi, and other single-cell organisms can flourish in your body and, in turn, influence the types of foods you crave.

I’ve been working with Lorraine and team for a few years now, I have nothing but praise the whole team at NYCN. I really appreciate Lorraine’s approach to food and nutrition. Her meal plans are really tasty and easy to follow. I am very appreciative for the opportunity to have virtual sessions and the freedom to be able to have our sessions from anywhere. Anna and Michelle are really nice and professional, it is an overall amazing staff.

My office is across the street from 245 5th Avenue. So I called the 917 number several times to make an appointment and ask some questions, but no one picks up. I left a message and have not gotten a return call as yet. I decided to walk across the street and make an appointment in person, however the people on the 3rd floor told me that Lorraine had left the facility years ago. I wish people would update their google information. Also, I was told by my insurance company that they don't take Aetna, so the whole experience was a bust.

I have been seeing Lorraine since March of 2021. She has absolutely changed my life in the best way possible. Since I was 16, I was told the solution for my irregular period was birth control. After struggling with negative associations with food, feeling guilty about eating some of the foods I knew were “bad” for me, having fluctuations in weight, and embarking on a family-planning journey to boost fertility and pregnancy wellness, Francesca helped me in ways I will always be grateful for! Words fail to express how much I appreciate this program. I  honestly believe that next to my religion and my precious daughter this experience was one of the best things I have experienced.  I  was 309lbs when I started and it is a pleasure to see the numbers stop in the 200s. I  have an under active thyroid disease and have struggled with my weight for decades. Lorraine Kearney is a talented nutritionist, who listened carefully and crafted a nutrition plan for me that worked, enabled me to lose weight, and made me feel like I had so much more energy. I really wanted to break my sugar addition, and her 21-day Sugar Detox was amazing. I was never hungry (unheard of for me!), and I lost more than 10 pounds in the process.
