I want for children to have a lot of fun and at the same time feel safe in the environment at their program. I am passionate about working for MCCA because its mission is to provide care for all children and to provide high quality care foe families. MCCA also provides opportunities for staff training and a better work standard.
At MCCA, we believe families are their children's best experts and we actively partner with families to support their children's needs. We value and encourage daily formal and informal communication with our families, and family members are always welcome in our program, including "just visiting, " volunteering in the classroom, participating in field trips as chaperones or at special events, or lending a hand with projects.
Montgomery Child Care Association's Training Institute offers workshops and pre-service trainings to child care professionals in the Washington DC Metro Area. Our training sessions are approved by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
MCCA trainers provide customized professional development to directors, teachers and aides who receive certificates in Core of Knowledge training and Pre-Service courses required for child care staff in Maryland.
