As a Realtor, I decided to try Rental Beast for a month. The orientation was great and I was enthusiastic that I could find some rentals for my clients. After the 2nd day I realized there was no activity in my area and asked for a refund. The representative said this is not the first time he's heard this. I was told there were no refunds given. I have yet to have any activity or leads in my area and paid $89.00 for nothing. I am very disappointed.

Some of the apartments do look nice but I have tried calling, I sent out an email, I set up the dates on the website after I created the account and no one spoke to me at all. And this has been going on for a good 1-2 month so I just kinda gave up for the time being.

Unauthorized use of our property information to get applications/application fees and the information is not accurate or current. Rental Beast (and it's affiliate, Homes.com) did not get permission to receive applications for our property. We found out about this unauthorized application because a prospect called inquiring about a property that she had "applied" for. I explained that the property is no longer available because we had already received 3 applications and we took the property off of the market. After I got off of the phone with her, I discovered that I had 4 emails from Rental Beast

I applied for a rental property through their website and the application fee was $49. They sent me and email like three days later telling me to contact the property manager. When I contacted the property manager, she said she’s never heard of Rental Beast and she didn’t have my application. When I called the number Rental Beast has on their website, the voicemail box was full. Do not use this Rental Beast or Homes.com to apply for a property.

I WOULDN’T GIVE ANY STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION. THEY DON’T DESERVE EVEN A ONE STAR RATING. My hubby & I found a rental listing and Rental Beast was the agency listed for contact. We called multiple times and left a message with no return call. We called again and tried a different extension in order to speak with someone. Once we did we were told an agent in the area would contact us within 48hrs to schedule a viewing of the property. Never received a call. We called again trying a different extension and were supposedly provided with the direct number and email for the owner of the property

Horrible service. I've tried to cancel my subscription but their website always seems to be down. I was charged, called immediately to cancel over the phone and ask for a refund. Now I can't get a hold of anybody. So much potential too, damn shame! Don't waste your money like I did.

If I could give a 0-star rating, I would. I found a possible home to rent on Apartments.com and RentalBeast was the company who listed it.
I was interested in it, but there weren’t a lot of pictures. I emailed them twice, asking for more pictures and I got no response. I found the phone number for RentalBeast, so I called them and had to leave a voicemail because no one answered. It has been 4 weeks since then and I have still not received any communication from these people. Complete Disappointment.

As an agent subscribed to the rental beast service, this is a great tool for agents who want solid rental leads in your area. Often times you can put people in your pipeline that rented with you prior and when their lease is up, you are able to help them buy! Good Luck!
