Wonderful service, friendly staff, very clean place!
We were coming heading towards the hotel in the evening, closer to 10, and received e-mail and a phone call from the manager of the Stardust that they are closing soon and asked if we're still planning to come which is very nice as we didn't know when there are closing. The person who met us was a very nice guy, he explained us everything and told us some useful tips to get around.
When we went to the room it was neat and very clean. Also we received the call from the front desk asking if everything is alright and if we are satisfied

I've read all reviews while I'm here , I would say it's looks like place is under new management now , I'm super clean person , and I like my sheets to be cleaned and bathroom as well. So I checked everything and everything was super super clean , and sheets smells like they were washed with softener .
Another word about Manager. He is the nicest person I've know . Especially in Miami . He waited for us until we arrived from crazy car rental place . He emailed me to ask if everything is ok and at what time are we arriving, and than he called us half an hour later to tell

Terribly disappointed!! I was told my lady friend could check in no problem since my flight would arrive 3 hours later, than I was told it would be a problem and it's against policy, than I was told it would be ok again, and on the day of I was told she would have to wait in the lobby until I arrived so I had to book another hotel last minute. Absolute madness and to make matters worse they would not refund the money I paid. I would NEVER come here again

The first night we stayed, the beds were disgusting. Lipstick, dirt and hair on the sheets and pillowcases. Sheets untucked like they had been used and left without being cleaned. I'm here with my family and we didn't pay a cheap rate, so I go to the front desk to show them the issue. They take us to another room. Same thing, sheets untucked, hair on the bed. So we go to the next room. The fridge doesn't work. Next room, dirty sheets. Final room, the door handle falls off when we walk in and the sheets are dirty. At this point, it's 9:30 at night and we're pissed. Finally

I was looking for a hotel in Miami Beach and almost booked this hotel. As my finger was about to hit the "book" prompt for a non refundable booking, I noticed they charge a high resort fee and it's in fine print that it's "per person." I decided not to book but my finger had already hit the book prompt. I immediately called the hotel and asked to please cancel my reservation without any charge because it was an accident. The person on the end basically said too bad it's non refundable. I tried to plead my case and she hung up on me. NOT the way to do business

We stayed for one night. Friday Feb 1-2,2019. I will first off that Ilana is very nice. She made you feel welcomed. We came to Miami Beach from Saint Cloud, Florida for a little staycation. The room was the double queen beds with Collins Ave view. It was so very clean and bright. The beds were very comfortable. The only problem I will say is that the cable did not work, thank god I have Netflix and the Spectrum app on my phone.
But overall experience here was good. I would book here again.

We loved our stay here! Perfect location! Michael checked us in to our room and he was extremely helpful and professional. Ilana was super sweet and helped us with questions we had. I would have really liked to have had more tv channels, only because my husband was trying to watch the NFL playoff game. We loved meeting "Chichi" the cat. We will definitely stay here again!

Big room, great location and the Kindest staff I've ever met. Not those super fancy hotel but definitely a nice and comfortable place to stay. One block away from the beach. Tons of restaurant options. And The guy in the office (i assume he is the manager) is super kind and attentive. Everyday you walk out the hotel you will receive warm greetings. And he will give you all kind of info about attractions and restaurants and tours. During my stay in the hotel I had an argument with my boyfriend over the phone and cried in the corridor. Stayed here with my girlfriend and it was a pretty great experience. Ellena the person working the front desk was incredibly attentive with handling anything we needed and constantly checked up on us to make sure everything we had anything we needed whenever we left or entered the premises. She made sure we had beach chairs, beach towels and breakfast every morning . The room was ridiculously spacious had a small kitchenette and several closets. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach and there's a liquor store and several restaurants and bars less than 5 minutes away. Would recommend to anyone

It's all about the location with this hotel. It is simply a great base to roam around South Beach from. The hotel itself is inexpensive and there are a couple good, reasonably priced options for parking within a short walking distance. Plenty of restaurants, too. The hotel does not offer much else than a large room that is comfortable enough to spend a few nights at. A small kitchen gives you some options or facilitates a longer stay.

THEY STEAL your deposit
I've been to this location and have called numerous times
This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL place I've ever seen
They give you the run around I was just there this morning and I was told by a RED headed lady that the manager is going to be there at 5
I call at 5 somebody else tells me that the manager is out of town, how can this be?
My deposit was 150$ and they've given me the run around on getting it when I specifically made plans to meet with the morning manager for my deposit and the night guy named MARCOS said it was all taken care of nobody showed

Never stay in this hotel. They have the worst management ever. And they ask you for a $150 deposit just in case you loose the key. There's no front desk and no phone number where you can call when you get there. So I had to wait for someone to show up and do the check in for 3 hours.

Worst management! They took $100 deposit on my stay and never returned. They said I checked out at 11pm in the night whereas I was in keywest by then. Such a lie. They are just giving reasons to take my deposit. Even booking.com couldn't help. Ridiculous. Don't get caught in the low prices they offer.
