Burlingame is open for dinner from 5:30pm Monday to Saturday. Chef Chad's cuisine is seasonally inspired, modern American food with a twist. He wants our guests to find new excitement in classic dishes and goes to great lengths to deliver with every plate. The made-from-scratch menu is small by design to focus on a handful of exquisite dishes each season.

This same made-from-scratch ethic shines through in our craft cocktail offerings. At Burlingame, we realize that dining out is about more than just the food on the plate. The total guest experience should be delightful. Here you can laugh with friends, visit with family or have an intimate dinner for two and our wait staff will work to ensure your experience is beyond your expectations.

Lauren and Callie were amazing! We had a corporate event for all our lead physicians and everything went great. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and made great suggestions to keep everything under approved budget. The food was great too & the ambience was super relaxing too!

We came for my husband’s birthday dinner. We started off with the beet salad which was very flavorful. The duck croquettes were perfectly fried with a soft breading firm enough to hold the ball together. The beets and balsamic reduction were delicious. My husband had the duck breast and after tasting it I wished I had orders it! It was a large breast and the outside was nicely crisped and so much flavor! It was perfectly cooked medium rare and so tender. I orders the shrimp and grits as my meal so they doubled the appetizer portion to make it a dinner portion. The shrimp were cooked perfectly

We dined at Burlingame Saturday night and it was perfection. The staff are gracious and ensure you have a wonderful experience. Our server, Christine was just fantastic! The salmon with corn chowder and julienned zucchini was amazing and beautifully light. The New York Strip with bordelaise sauce and triple cooked fries was outstanding as well. The menu definitely provides excellent options and it is clear that the food is fresh and seasonal. We dined on the patio with a view of the kitchen. We cannot wait to return.

Restaurant is in a quant house which gives it a cozy feel. Small menu, but exquisite menu. Everything we had at our table was executed masterfully and tasted wonderful. Service was great and not overbearing. Extra care taken with food allergies. Magnificent after dinner drink menu, especially if you are a bourbon fan.
I would definitely recommend this establishment and make no hesitation in returning here on my next visit.

Very pricy, but we ate very well. Our large group had to be moved from the middle dining room, because of another large party that was a bit boisterous. The restaurant was gracious, and moved us without a problem. The restaurant could use some rugs or tapestries to dampen the sound. There are some acoustical squares, but not enough to make a difference

Limited dinner menu, great, extensive wine list. Kudos to the staff for all, wisely, wearing masks. Shrimp and grits was good. Snapper collar was not the delicious morsel I was led to expect. It was moist and tasty, but a tad greasy and over fried. Service was good. They actually had a rare after-dinner drink, Aguardente Velha, a Portuguese brandy! The setting outside was a bit bland, inside nice.

Incredible! The snapper was amazing: perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, an incredibly well-composed dish. The service was personal and very professional (without feeling stuffy or insincere). Also, as someone who loves good coffee (too many fine dining restaurants fall down here), they have amazing coffee from Dancing Goats Coffee. The French Press I had with my chocolate torte with raspberry sorbet was the perfect end to my dinner. I'd honestly visit the area again just to eat here. It was that good!

What a great restaurant! I decided on Burlingame to celebrate my dear husband's birthday after reading some reviews. I requested outside seating and when we arrived we were seated outdoors as requested. Our waiter was lovely. He immediately wished my husband a happy birthday and even gave him a card from the restaurant! What a nice touch!

To start we both ordered a vodka and aperol drink called Young Americans. It was very tasty and different. And we went with the appetizer special of charred octopus. Oh my goodness it was delicious! The smell alone was fantastic!

This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at. It was a short drive from the Ritz Carlton, in the historical district of Amelia Island. The restaurant is in an old house, with a few wonderful art pieces on the wall, great help, and amazing, yummy food. Highly recommend you make reservations and if the weather is nice, ask to sit on the patio. There were 4 in our party, and everything we had was worth our time, effort to get there, and the amount of our check.

One of the best meals we have ever eaten. The atmosphere is stunning, service excellent. Kya and all the staff were so attentive. Charcuterie board was delicious and a perfect starter. Brussels sprouts had explosive flavor. We all had the tomahawk pork and not one of us was disappointed. It was cooked to perfection. The bacon jam and Serrano emulsion added just a touch of unique flavor. The pecan pie and chocolate tart were the perfect ending to a perfect meal.

I have to agree with the majority of Yelpers about this lovely place. The atmosphere is light and cozy at the same time, upscale but casual enough for comfort. Service is attentive and capable, and the food was delicious. We had all appetizers--salad, charcuterie, Brussels sprouts, and triple-cooked fries--which were great, as was the sourdough bread. Overall, a super birthday dinner, and we'll be back to try the entrees soon.

SO AMAZING!!!! Fantastic, creative food. Excellent service with a beautiful atmosphere makes for a lovely evening. I had the shrimp and grits- Unlike any other I've ever had- the freshest most delicious elements. The deconstructed lemon pie for dessert was also incredible. I'm 4 hours away but planning my next visit.

RYAN IS GOD. Best experience of my life. The food was amazing. The drinks were delicious. The bartender was very beautiful. My friends won't shut up about it. Ryan restored my faith in men! And I noticed the food was really good. It was my last night as a single woman, and I noticed, somehow, the food was very good.

EDIT: To everyone at Burlingame who accommodated what had to be the most obnoxious, attention-seeking, and offensive bachelorette party that my broken alcoholic-logged brain can imagine, thank you for excellent service and the best meal of my life. Blessings to you and endless

A good fine dining restaurant in downtown Fernandina area. The inside looks bigger than you would expect just looking at the front of the restaurant. They have many sections inside so you can select to be seated indoor no windows, indoor with beautiful windows all around, indoor in a separate big room or outdoor in kind of their beautiful backyard area.

The most prominent aspect in my opinion is service. Professional, polite and friendly. I could tell that their staff are well-trained to make sure guests will have the best experience. We felt very welcomed and had a great time dining there.

PHENOMENAL! We went here for our anniversary dinner! Every bite was absolutely stunning! It's started with bold sourdough bread and decadent chive butter! Round two were exquisite brussel sprouts and immaculately prepared octopus. For the main, we did the sea bass and shrimp and grits - both slam dunks! We finished it off with lemon pie - do die for! OH, AND ALSO, let me not forget the incredible cocktail menu - the lovely rita, young american were perfectly crafted, and the tokaji pairing with the lemon pie dessert! 🤤🤤🤤 Bless these wonderful people for bringing such incredible flavor

We entered the wrong month for our reservation but they accommodated us anyway. The service, food , cleanliness and covid requirements were perfect.
The he wine list and the food was awesome. The owners were amazing and our server John F. was perfect. I have to say I would eat here all the time if I lived here. We had a wonderful evening thank you so much!!

I am not exaggerating in the slightest when I say I had the best meal of my life at Burlingame this weekend!

Burlingame is genuinely one of the island's best-kept secrets! It's hard to even put into words how incredible every experience is here, but I will try my best!  You will find this charming little cottage tucked away in downtown Fernandina's historic district. 
I love the cozy but upscale vibe here!

What a great place. Located in the center of Fernandina beach this house turned restaurant really hit the spot. I struggled finding anything that was 1. Open on a Tuesday and 2. That serves something other than bar food. Was so pleased that I found this place. Reserved on open table arrived at the set time sat right away. Restaurant was clean and observing all covid 19 restrictions.

Menu had several appetizers and main courses to choose from and a robust wine list. Picked the pasta appetizer and Brussel sprouts to start. Both were delicious. The pasta had cooked oysters and bacon in the sauce

Dinner at Burlingame was a real treat, and one of the highlights of my recent trip as I explored Northeast Florida. Set in a charming house, that has been renovated into a restaurant, at Burlingame you can sit back and relax as you enjoy some of the unique dishes from their seasonal menu. Burlingame is doing an excellent job at following the social distancing guidelines set forth due to COVID-19, with all the staff wearing masks, reduced capacity, single-use menus, and even foot pulls on their doors. I felt very comfortable and safe dining here because of how clean it was and how serious they are

Amazing dinner! We dined 2x in 4 days. Great drink list and some hard to find bourbons (hubby was happy!). Try the young American. Loved it! Scallops are very good. And tenderloin has an amazing presentation
On a wood board. Brussels sprouts as an appetizer are a must have. Jeanie is a terrific server - ask for her! We will be back!
