The floors and walls are dirty and disgusting. When we went for lunch they had no steak. No type of katsu food at all. My chicken terrikyaki had sauce on it that wasn't terriyaki. The sushi was mushy and gross. Honestly I will never come back here again. We left hungry and it was super disappointing.

This place is such a gem in Jacksonville. Delicious and affordable sushi, really nice staff, a cozy ambiance in the restaurant, and free delivery in a 3 mile radius. My boyfriend and I had a full meal of soft drinks, miso soups, edamame, and 5 rolls of sushi for under $40 before tip. You can’t beat that! We will definitely be coming back more often.

This place is a hidden gem. Probably our favorite restaurant in Jacksonville. The staff is always super welcoming and friendly and the food is amazing. Very affordable as well!

This place has incredible food and very fair prices. The staff is very nice and polite and the atmosphere is very calm. This is my go-to spot for a calm lunch. This restaurant has my support 100%!

When you walk in and see the sushi chef you may think he doesn't know what he's doing but don't let appearances fool you. Quality sushi across the board.

When we get to the restaurant the cooking table had dried up cooked rice in the corner from a previous table. Absolutely the WORST hibachi restaurant I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Absolutely ridiculous management and worse staff. Could not accommodate someone with shellfish allergies except to cook food in the back because the so called chef could not spend 3 extra minutes to do shrimp first or wipe down utensils. Complete disregard for people with allergies. Chef ends up cooking shrimp first but literally could not take the two extra minutes to wipe down the table prior to cooking the next item.

I've been to a few Wasabis in Jacksonville. I'm not sure if they're connected, but why not try another one. The food was decent. The rolls were nice and made fresh to order. You are also given a soup with your choice of miso or broth soup with mushrooms and crispy pieces that soak up the broth. I decided to splurge and get three different rolls to have a little variety. I decided on the Jax which consisted of a California roll with eel on top. I also got two other tempura style rolls, but I can't remember the names.

The only reason I gave this place a three was the presentation

My food was terrible last night . Poor quality shrimp overcooked and not well seasoned. The rice was overcooked not fresh there were hard pieces of rice throughout the whole serving. The carrots looked like canned carrots. The clear soup had no mushrooms or fried onions in it. It's the simple things for me. Never again.

Its really good food and we come here often but they forgot to put my online order in. So if you place an online order call to make sure they got it. They are friendly but for the time I waited for my order (40 minutes after they put the order in that they forgot) they should of done something to make it right or make up for it not just have a goodnight. Just my opinion. 😊

First time getting take out here because it's literally right by my house so I thought I would give it a try and I was craving sushi.... THE FOOD IS BANGIN' And that's just takeout! Would highly recommend this restaurant. The quality in their food is bomb! Definitely have to come here next time with my husband.

I've been ordering by delivery from them for around 6yrs and the food has always been very good!! They've always told me around 45 minutes to an hour (understandable) and they've always been right on time. My fried rolls always still nice and warm.👍👍👍

Service was lacking, hot sake was too hot to touch, let alone drink and the sushi had a fishy taste and smell indicative of it having sat around too long.
Place was empty and its easy to see why. I was hopeful as its in the neighborhood, but was sadly disappointed.

The chef and our individual waiter were great with being hygienic - and our food was great as well - but I noticed two female waitresses repeatedly pulling down their masks to speak to others or had it pulled down while walking through the restaurant. It made my party pretty uncomfortable to see employees not complying with COVID precautions.

This is our local spot. Can’t believe they don’t have a higher star rating. Very nice family / staff, yummy food. My kids get so excited when we get take out from here.

First time writing a review because I normally don't care to share one way or another if a place was good or bad but this food was terrible. First time I've ever ordered sushi from a place and was afraid to eat it due to the color and smell of it, so I threw it in the garbage. Might as well have taken my $40 and threw it at strippers at the gold club, absolute waste of money. We have eaten at this restaurant numerous times (hoping that it would result in a better experience each time), but last night was probably our last.
-sushi: mediocre or average at best
-customer service: subpar. This restaurant will prioritize its take out orders over the customers actually sitting in the building eating in. On one occasion we stood at the door for 15 minutes before ever being acknowledged by a staff member.
-consistently bring orders of food to the wrong table.
-have trash (cardboard boxes, old computer CPUs) stored in the restaurant seating area.

Their lunch specials is such a great deal. I always get 3 rolls and it comes with a side salad and soup. Very clean and quiet inside. Great place for a date. I personally love their volcano roll or midnight fantasy roll if I'm not getting the lunch special. Their hibachi is quite tasty as well! Been going here since I was a kid.

This place is easy tip find the three shopping center. You will seat yourself when you arrive. They will tahe your drink order and give you all the time you need to go over the menu.

The inside is clean and fresh. The sushi bar is small. The service is fast. They kept all our drinks full.

The food is cooked good. The taste is fresh. The portion size is above average. The prices is not on the high side. The 10$ hibachi lunch special of pick two was much bigger than expected. It filled me up.

I recommend this place for good asian food at low cost.

Cleanliness...3.5.... tables and menus were fine. It was the food particles stuck all over the wall next to the booth we were sitting in that grossed us all out. A bit warm in the place as well.

Service...4.... very attentive staff, responsive with ordering, refills, and check. But our table of 4 had to wait 45 mins to get our food when there was only 1 other table with people. They did appear to be filling a lot of pick up orders. Only 1 sushi chef.

Food...5.... My 2 rolls were awesome and I would totally get them again. Both rolls were huge to the point I couldn't even finish my plate

I have been coming here since I was a little kid and it will always be my favorite sushi restaurant in Jax. The owner is really friendly and it is a nice, casual restaurant. There's a bar where you can watch them make sushi too which is good for kids!

Location close to my home. Small and quiet, would like a better atmosphere. A lot of pick up orders and delivery but no many people eating in for a Sunday Dinner. Great service and great tasting food . My only complaint is the way sushi rolls are made need more care and technique. My rolls keep falling apart ( not enough rice? Not wrapped right ). I'm not a sushi maker but I eat enough to know how it should be. Great tasting food even if it falls apart . Steak hibachi was delicious and good amount of food. Would definitely eat there again...

We went for dinner and decided to " eat in"- obviously more a lunch place.
The booths are comfortable but there is graffiti on the walls and they are dirty- a simple cleaning would go a long way.
We were one of 2 tables in restaurant, however, we were only given 1 menu and the service was very slow- especially trying to get the check. Once food came out- it tasted good.

When we sat, our server came over to drop menus off and get our drink order. She is gone for about 5 min and walks over to get our food oder, no drinks (water) yet. When she brings the soup out, still no water, she asked if we ever got our drinks and we answered no. She reasked what it was, we all tell her water. The tuna tataki was not how I've ever had it, very thinly sliced over a bed of sliced cucumbers. The cucumber salad wasn't that fantastic either. The food was very disappointing. My husband and I each had a "special" salad with raw salmon and some other unidentifiable stuff under it. Not a traditional "salad." Both included "spicy sauce." They got that right! Not a flavorful spicy, however, just the kind that burns your lips without enhancing the taste. The selection of sashimi was minimal and the fish was sliced too thick.

We have been enjoying Wasabi for the past 12 years! By far, the absolute best Japanese Sushi restaurant in Jacksonville! Superb sushi, Japanese food and outstanding friendly customer service! This is the GOLD Standard for great sushi at a great price in Jacksonville! You won't be disappointed I promise you.

You can expect the same quality of food. Never waiver. My go-to appetizer is the tuna sashimi.

This is my go to place for sushi delivery! No where else in Jacksonville delivers sushi unless you are doing grub hub which is too pricey, so they are smart to do this! Most of the time the delivery is an hour with max of an hour and a half on busy nights, and lunch delivery about 30 min at best.

I generally get an array of sushi and sometimes the shrimp teriyaki dinner. My go to is the salmon sashimi which is always so fresh and tasty. I also like the spicy scallop handroll.
