Daybreak Yoga
They're seekers who are actively looking for peace, healing, or a rekindling of their fires. They want to improve their lives at a deeper level. These open minds are thirsty for knowledge, for love, for community, and they're ready to move their bodies to make it happen. Even if they haven't moved them in a while.

Their hearts, too, are open to new experiences and ideas - taking the journey with those similar and different from themselves. They seek a sanctuary where they can make deep, lasting change. They're ready to unleash the brilliance within so they can be the light of their own day, life, year, or mission.
Services
Daybreak Yoga can be a light in a dark place. Yogis feel accepted and comfortable here. They are supported and encouraged to try a yoga pose they have only dreamed of in the past. This light recognizes the light in others. It bows to that light and promises never to extinguish it. We are asleep to our potential, unaware of the beautiful treasure waiting to be found within our hearts.
We are excited about this new community and are looking forward to talking books with you. In the past we discussed Buddha's Brain, A Return to Love, and The Magic of Surrender. We want your input and suggestions to make this a thriving, growing community. In Moving the Chakras online course you will have unlimited access to videos, presentations, and eBooks for $88.
Surrender, Let Go, and Receive: Join us for a weekend of community, connection, and comfort. But we welcome ALL individuals to join us on our journey with opens arms and open hearts. Because we believe yoga is for EVERY BODY. Whether you're a basketball player, a ballet dancer or a 52-year-old woman who has trouble bending her knees, we accept you for YOU - without judgement.
We are currently accepting applications for this 200-hour yoga teacher training for our Fall 2021 Session. Why our yoga teacher training? Students will receive both in-person, in-studio training sessions and online sessions, two or three weekends each month for five months: a Hybrid Training. The hours will be intensive and extensive.

Daybreak Yoga has been a God send for me. I continued my membership throughout the corona virus pandemic because I knew it was something that I wanted to stay around and be able to go back to. I feel very comfortable and having an African American yoga studio to connect with really brings me joy. Dawn is informative and her instructors that I have met carry her same sense of empathy and skill. Thankful for this space…Peace :)

Dawn has a warm and inviting spirit. I was new to yoga and Dawn made me feel comfortable. She is very patient and did not have any problems showing me the different yoga poses and helping me with my form.

As a newbie to Yoga, I was very intimidated and a little nervous about my session. That all changed as soon as I entered Daybreak Yoga Studio. The warmth and the positivity met at the door. The space is decorated pleasantly and smelled amazing. After filling out consent forms, I was offered tea. As a woman of color, I appreciated Dawn understanding and patience as I attempted to try new poses. Her voice, tone, and energy was encouraging. She walked around and gently corrected poses as to reduce injury, which I greatly appreciated. She explain why some poses released toxins and other release emotions

Do I like Daybreak Yoga? No. I LOVE Daybreak Yoga! This is where I find community and serenity when I need it. I didn’t think yoga was for me and maybe you feel yoga isn’t for you but if you are open to the possibility please let Dawn M Rivers show you the way. It’s been a life changing experience for me. I would encourage anyone to to take advantage of what Dawn M Rivers and Daybreak Yoga have to offer. Namaste.

I have been a client at Daybreak for almost 3 years. The atmosphere has always been welcoming, encouraging and fun. The Dawn Experience is my favorite class. You get mudras, mauntras, meditation and a challenging flow that is adaptable to all bodies. I enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training at Daybreak in January 2020 and graduated in May. I am currently a 200 hour certified and registered yoga instructor with Daybreak and the studio's manager. I believe in and care deeply for this studio so much so that I joined the staff and remain a client.

The best experience I have had with yoga yet! I have always shied away from yoga because it has always been so advanced and because I’m so inexperienced and tight it just hurt. I feel so much better physically, emotionally, and spiritually since I’ve been coming to Daybreak Yoga. Dawn is an excellent teacher and the other instructors are great as well. I highly recommend it and I hope to enjoy all of the classes offered eventually and for a long time to come.

I've taken several online classes with Daybreak Yoga, and they have all been wonderful. Dawn is warm, welcoming, and passionate about the practice. The classes always feel personal. It feels like I'm in the room, even though I'm in the comfort of my own home.

I love Daybreak Yoga! The studio's online classes have been a bright spot in my weekly routine: I am able to move, sweat, laugh, stretch, listen, reflect, and be present. I always leave class feeling more grounded (and like I got a great workout!).
I typically take Dawn's classes on Monday evenings, either the Dawn Experience or Back to Basics, depending on my schedule. When I first began seriously practicing yoga (in around 2016), I learned in more of the power flow, vinyasa style; Back to Basics has allowed me to really slow down, tune into my body, and work on proper alignment, while still

I have been doing the 9:30 am Back to Basics Class and I love it because it's a little different every time but I some how always get what I need! I live in California so I take the class before my kids wake up and it has become my favorite part of my day! All mine with my cousin Leah who is the instructor and quite an amazing instructor I must say! I have been practicing yoga for several years now and it truly warms my heart to see her in her element!! I am going to have to make it a point to try some of their other classes soon.

My experience at Daybreak Yoga allowed me to feel comfortable in a room with others as I began the beginning phase of practicing Yoga. The instructor was very patient and hands on assisting the new Yogi's with the poses. I really enjoyed the way the instructor defined words she used as we practiced so that we all had clarity as we embarked on this new journey.

I absolutely love daybreak!! I began my yoga journey with a loved one who fell ill with cancer.. she had issues with her back and I suggested yoga. We located daybreak in downtown Bedford and they had a great Groupon deal!

Surprise surprise! When we arrived I found out the owner and teacher was my high school librarian dawn rivers.. after my first class I was hooked! I'm not someone who is incredibly flexible and have always had issues with my hips and legs.

Daybreak has been a savior for me. Every week the classes have been something to look forward too. From the warm environment, wonderful
