A little hard to find the building/door but once you do it's a really nice experience. Very clean and organized, entry room for all your stuff then too classrooms that get very hot. Good instructors who are not the super yogis but rather just people who really know what they are doing. Only drawback is there wasn't a lot of 1-on-1 help if you were struggling to do something.

Really disappointed in the fact that I was trying to catch a class and I was on the waitlist. I called ahead and the girl at the studio really did nothing to try to assist me to get to the class. I asked if I could go in a different room and do a virtual class and she said no. I hope I get fully refunded and not just a credit to the studio because they were really just not accommodating.

I've been going to Cleveland Yoga for a few years now and it accomplishes the challenging act of motivating me to do yoga and get some exercise. It's often difficult to get myself there, but I know that once I'm in there, I will be so glad I went. I'm almost 70 years old, and I especially love the Slow Flow classes with Joanna. When I leave, I feel more comfortable in my body and more fit in general. Staff people are warm and friendly. My only problem with Cleveland Yoga is that sometimes it's too crowded. Every inch of space is filled up. I love how close it is to where

My boyfriend and I drove an hour to take a class here months ago. We both agree that every class we have taken since then at other studios in our area just don't compare! If this studio was closer to my home I'd be here every day. The instructor (if i remember correctly her name is Lisa) was authentic and lead a smooth and calm class with the perfect amount of challenge. Still dreaming about that class..

THIS REVIEW IS GOING TO BE LIKE THE MOVIE FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, 2 STORIES IN ONE.
How come every time I ATTEND a crowded class I'm next to or in front of someone that has horrid halitosis. I'm mean I can not even begin to understand what the hellz were in these peoples mouths . Did they just chow down on a dead decaying animal that pooped iteself accompanied with a side or garlic pickles and a glass of bile? Good God almighty.
I like hot yoga, I attended a class that was by donation for an animal shelter, I did not know it was going to be like Yucatan hot. I decided to attend anyway

Marni Task's yoga classes feed the heart and soul!! While Marni guides us through an interesting variety of poses every class - and we really use the body and breath extensively - classes are fun, thoughtful, personal, and let you think and reflect about being a good person and living a better life. On top of that, Marni has a wonderful sense of humor and brings in current events and insights that keep the class lively. I have been doing yoga for 15 years, in New York, Ohio, Florida and California, and Marni is the very best teacher I've ever had!! Come take a class!!

If you want an intense baptiste experience, this is the place to go! It is pricy but a great workout where you truly leave it all on the floor. It definitely is mostly just a physical practice here so I would not expect the same meditation aspects you might find elsewhere but come here for a great workout

I've been practicing yoga at this studio for 4 years. I absolutely love it. The yoga teachers are wonderful and each challenges you to find your edge. I love the heat and humidity in the classes, though you can take classes in the non-heated room (just not my jam!) Sure the classes are a little pricey, but I get what I pay for. If you're considering practicing a fair bit, the unlimited monthly is a great option.

I LOVE Cleveland Yoga! The teachers are all the best that I've ever had and after traveling to other yoga studios within and outside of Cleveland and it is still the best studio I've been to by far. I love the space, the staff and the community and I highly recommend the studio for anyone who's looking for a new yoga home!

As far as studios in the Cleveland area, this is a good one. There are many classes throughout the day and I enjoy the heat and longer time-frames of classes. I will say, however, that 1. I wish there were mirrors for checking alignment 2. I would love more feedback and hands on adjustment 3. Less loud talking/asides and irrelevant comments from the instructor and more authentic experience of yoga, not just physical asana practice.
I do love all the Cleveland yoga goodies available in the studio shop and also believe the facility is very clean and well-kept.
UPDATE (3/8/17): I feel like I need

Cleveland Yoga is a high quality Baptiste certified affiliate studio with some of the best teachers in town. I have been practicing there for many years, and I can always find a convenient class that is inspiring and appropriate for my fitness level. They offer basics, slow flow, and power classes, something for everyone. The teachers tend to stick around, the turnover is low, which means your favorite teachers tend to stick around.

Upside: clean facility, warm studio, natural lighting
Downside: the front desk staff was rude, caddy, and practically ignores you. The instructor that was there was Scott, he didn't seemed enthused and didn't smile or say hello, and then during the practice he was yelling which was distracting and almost comical because I was in disbelief at the volume and enunciation he chose to use. There were so many people crammed into one space that I was up against the wall and worrying about kicking or hitting the person next to me. Once I was leaving I was greeted by even more grumpy people trying

I travel for months out of the year for my job and one of the things I love is that while on the road I get to try out a lot of different studios. I have a regular yoga practice at home and am in the process of getting my 200 hour teaching certification. Most of the time this results in me getting to know some locals and learning new things that improve my own practice.
That was absolutely not the case at Cleveland Yoga this evening. Let me start by saying that this studio is very hard to find.. literally at the service entrance a building. Once I did find it, I didn't get a warm reception

I am a huge fan of Inner Bliss in Rocky River so that is my point of comparison. I may need to try out a few more instructors before I finalize my review but I found today's instructor to offer very little instruction and no hands-on assistance. I am very flexible but people always put their hands on me to help me go deeper into a pose. The small room is so bright (and so small). Yikes. Again, I will try a few more instructors to see how it goes but my heart still lies with Inner Bliss, their spiritual environment, and their instructors' deep meditations.

I went in to the Cleveland yoga expecting a warm reception. I recently moved to the area from California. My wife encouraged me to get into yoga here in Cleveland. I was really excited until I got there. The lady at the front desk had a stern look on her face and scolded me for bringing my wet boots in from the snow. Never once did she smile the entire time I was there. She was colder than the frigid weather outside. I felt like she was looking down her nose at me. I asked about the classes and she responded, well are you practicing. Maybe it's because I'm a guy and not a woman. I&apos

I'm a fan! I've been going to both the beachwood and the uptown location and i'm loving them both. I think the staff members at Cleveland Yoga are so friendly and enthusiastic. Even better, the yoga instructors there love what they do and they do a great job at it. Maybe of the yoga instructors there really make an effort to know its members names and they put in effort to correct your pose and teach you modifications if some of the workouts are too intense.
I love this place. If you're looking for a Yoga to join, join Cleveland Yoga!
