After moving to Texas in 1994, I was involved in founding a private school in the southwest part of Houston. I was a Principal there for six years. Then in 2002, I decided to open my own Montessori School in Spring, Texas and I am living the dream now!

A wonderful school with teachers and staff who’s care for the children is evident both from what you see and hear from your child. Our daughter used to get upset every drop off at her old school (a Primrose) and after the first two weeks here, she was excited to go and is thoroughly enjoying it. We’re very happy we chose Cypresswood Montessori.

I absolutely recommend this montessori school for everyone - the teachers are amazing, my daughter has become very inquisitive, and I love that I have the option to bring her food (or buy lunch one day, two days, etc). My daughter has learned so much and she is ALWAYS super excited to go school. This is her second year going to Cypresswood Montessori and I will most definitely keep her here until kindergarten

I highly recommend this school to anyone that wants outstanding care and education for your child!!
My son started here when he was 4 .He is not an easy kid and I told them he was a handful but they put me at ease when they told me they have +20 years of experience with all type of personalities and they were right. Before my son came to CMS he had some trouble socializing and controlling his emotions and his amazing teacher Kimberly and the rest of the staff did wonders to help him improve and get the best out of him. I don't usually write reviews but this place deserve it and I am very grateful

For nearly 7 years, 3 of our children have attended Cypresswood Montessori and we could not be happier with our experience. From the Director down to every teacher, there is so much care and love for their students. Our children have flourished under their care and instruction and have built such strong bonds with their teachers. They did a great job of preparing our oldest when he moved to Kindergarten, and our middle child will be be equally ready to transition next year. So extremely happy to have my daughter enrolled at this school! The staff is wonderful and so caring. Every morning she is welcomed with open arms, and I never have to worry if she is being taken care of properly. The entire staff loves each child as if they were their own- which is what every parent wants out of a school! you watch them learn and grow with real life situations at this school.

It is the best daycare we've experienced. Our girls have been in daycares since infants and they are 6 and 3 years old now. They've been attending Cypresswood Montessori for over a year now and we couldn't be happier. As a bonus during summer program they offer field trips. It helps with the guilt feeling I had when my older one's classmates from school were staying home during the summer break and mine couldn't because of two working parents. Cypresswood Montessori has been an amazing experience for my family! My kids look forward to going to school every morning and come home with new skills every day! People are always amazed by my 15 month old son's ability to use a fork and my daughter's (2.5 years) language has improved drastically, even to the point where her pediatrician has taken the possibility of speech therapy off the table completely. The school emphasizes each individual child's development. Very low teachers rotation, and all the teachers are considerate and work in a harmonious environment. Good safety and security focus. They have a garden in the back, organize field trips, 'water days," fun bus, yoga, and collaborate with various outside providers (tae kwon do, etc) to deliver rich experiences to the students. I am an elementary counaelor in Klein, with my Masters in Education. Originally my daughter was going to stay with a family member until she was ready for school, so when that didn't work out I was sent into panic mode. My first job with children was working at a learning center, so I know how daycares really are. This place however exceeded all of my expectations. The staff always greet my daughter and I by name every morning. They are always happy to see my baby girl. My daughter is not just a number or dollar sign here.
