What a blessing to have such a reliable tire repair and upgrade company so close to home. Walking distance, literally. Jamal and his team are a treat to do business with. I woke up to a flat this morning, and by 430 this afternoon, I was back in full commission. This local treasure of a mechanic squad not only mend a nail puncture, they work the tire from the inside out to ensure a full cohesive patch job. Affordable (it cost less than $30. What?!) Efficient (in and out in less than 5 hours, even as a walk in with a line of services going on simultaneously). And effective (the tire is solid). I

Southern Tire replaced tires on my MB today and at their suggestion I accepted a different brand from the OEM tires. The ride quality was vastly improved. I am impressed with the ease of service from drop off to the text I received within a few hours stating my car was ready for pick up. Took my truck in this morning for a 4 wheel alignment and I did not have an appointment. They took me in and in less than a half hour truck was done. Great place, clean, courteous, friendly and reasonably priced.
Gregg, Jamil and Richard were all so helpful. Can not say enough about this place.

Great service and good people to help you out. This place is absolutely packed though, even when you show up BEFORE they open so plan on being there early to get in line. I got there 20 minutes before opening time and there were already 4 car owners waiting for the doors to open. But, they quoted me an excellent price to replace all four tires and I was in no rush, so it was worth it!

Excellent independent service location. I have got a variety of work done over the last 3 years from servicing our cars, new tires, rim repairs, brakes and rotors. Their work is always high quality, friendly and efficient. Jamel and the staff there are very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.

The customer service and estimates on when the job will be done is just awful. I have lived in South Tampa and come to southern tire all the time, but the last 2 years they just don't care about people's time. I was told that my car would be done in 2 hours - to be on the safe side. Returned after an hour and 45 minutes. My car has not been moved or any work started. I think this because I was due for my free tire rotation and they had paying jobs in front of me. I will never use them again.j
