Bruce Schollmann started repairing cars at his family body shop in his first year of high school and he has been working there since. He went from detailing cars to learning to repair small dings and dents, to mastering major collisions repairs and painting cars.

They were very friendly, professional and kept me up to date on repairs and timeline They handled the insurance and any other logistics needed. Received my car better than before after hitting a deer and even went above and beyond the actual repairs and handled a few.dings. I highly recommend this family owned business more than other big promise cattle delivery services in town. I bought a BMW 328i Wagon last year and the previous owner had quite the relationship of hitting the car against curbs and causing damage. As someone who can't stand the look of scrapes on my car I looked around for the right place to get the last of the large scrapes fixed on the rocker panel. And boy I was so glad that I took the car to Carl's as they did an outstanding job! Someone sideswiped my car in a parking lot. I wasn't certain where to take it to get it fixed, so I shopped around to get a few different quotes. I chose Carl's for two reasons; Helen was extremely communicative, and Bruce explained very clearly exactly what work he needed to do and the time needed in order to fix my car. He was also very patient with all my questions and concerns which I certainly appreciated. Still, when I dropped it off I felt nervous as I really didn't know this auto shop at all.

Ben dealing with Carl for 30 years. When your radiator is bad,it's the best place to take your leak. Very knowledgeable and professional. Carl has new school technology, and also old school technology . Most people just get a replacement radiator, Carl can repair the original equipment. In my opinion he is the best! !!

In the past Carl's use to do mechanic work and I had brought my truck there to have the clutch slave cylinder fixed. They did an excellent job, they were professional, knowledgeable and only used genuine Toyota parts on my Tacoma. Recently a deer hit my truck from the side and I brought the truck to be repaired again to Carl's. They had to repair the whole drivers side and new genuine Toyota parts were used again. Working with people you can trust, that aren't going to cut corners. is also a big factor for me when choosing a business, which is what you get when dealing with Bruce

I brought a newer truck to Bruce after driving by his sign many times. I had other work done by the other "big guys" in Santa Rosa, but wasn't happy with quality control reviews about the private contractors doing work under their name.
I was impressed by Bruce's personal approach and immediately trusted him. He helped me get discounts on a rental and was accurate with his estimates and timeline.

The best body shop around!! They have the "when you're here your family" feeling when you walk in and speak to Helen. She gets you checked in and all going. One of the best shops in Sonoma county. They've taken care of me multiple times and there is no one else I will take my vehicles to, especially after having very bad experiences at one of larger shops. Bruce, and his team put the customer first and high quality is their standard. If you want it done right and don't want someone taking short cuts or half a$$ing the job, take it to them.

I'm a DIY'er and didn't take my entire car here, just needed some plastic brackets on my bumper cover plastic-welded back on. Carl's and G&C were the only two in the area willing to do this. Other shops said things like, "Those brackets break off about 80% of the time we pull a bumper cover off. We just replace the whole thing." In my case that was a $600 part! Plus painting cost!

Carl's Auto Body did a terrific job on my 2007 BMW 328i, i had just had the back bumper repainted about 7 months ago, while travelling someone scraped it and it looked terrible. I took it in and met Helen and Bruce and expressed I would lile the color as close as possible, Bruce explained that the rubber parts are usually painted just a little darker, so I was concerned the color match may not look perfect. Can't say enough good things! I dented my rear bumper a few months ago and called Carl's to see about getting it fixed. They called back promptly, made time even though they were clearly busy to deal with my car, and patiently gave me honest advice on my best options given my budget. In August 2014 I bought a 2015 Acura ILX. In September, my car was hit while parked. I brought the car to Carl's Body Shop and spoke to Bruce Schollmann. I was concerned as this was a 2015 car and I didn't know if the parts were available yet. Bruce assured me that this was not a problem. My mind was instantly put at ease as he spoke with confidence. I talked to several local companies about doing a custom setup for my truck, after about 3 weeks of deliberation, I spoke to Jesus at Carl's Muffler, he said he could do the job for about half the price everyone else was offering. After the job was finished, I checked out the final touches, and Jesus went above and beyond to make sure my exhaust was the best possible. He created additional mounting points, welded them together to prevent rattle, and ensured there would be no leaks with A+ welding techniques. I will be going back for everything else pertaining to my truck.
