Do not patronize this business the owners extremely rude. When doing the claim they missed damages done to my door and window now they're saying it's not part of the damages that need to be repaired. They are horrible trying to backtrack now I'm trying to go through my insurance to fix things I will end up having to take it to a better shop. When I brought up the problem and something not being fixed the owner proceeded to tell me he didn't care what the f I did. How you can run a business like this is shocking. THEY ARE THE WORST AUTO BODY

I was having dents removed from my automobile. When I came to pick it up. There was a large bent in the back of my car that wasn't there when I brought it there. Or I would have removed that one too. I paid $1200. dollars to fix the other ones. When I showed the woman that worked for Dave the owner she was going to fix it. When she showed Dave he accused me of it being there before. I told he needed to review his cameras. Then gave me dirt looks from behind the counter. Sad because I've been getting work done at their shop since 2003. And they have always been good to me. Dave's a good guy. He really helped me replace my friends car passenger mirror after it got clipped by a vehicle while parked in the street overnight. He got the part in 48 hours and installed it in 40 minutes while I waited. This is a very small job but it's good to know he's there if there's need. It's also a great location because it's next door to the Barlow, so you can have coffee or eat something while you wait. Recommend Key Auto Body.

Dave gave me personal and professional attention, even though the job was through AAA and not his usual body work, but a catalytic converter theft replacement. I want to say, I will use Dave's shop if I need ANY body work in the FUTURE, too --which is HIGH praise since I've taken all my AAA before to a Santa Rosa shop close to my house. I was visiting in town for just a day or two and knocked the liner under my car off somewhere on the way down. I called on a Friday afternoon and Todd was so great. He told me to come on in and he would take a look even though he was getting ready to head out. He took the time to fix it and sent me on my way. Super gracious and absolutely appreciated. I would highly recommend just based on such a top level of customer service.

I rarely take the time to write reviews but my experience at Key's was so easy and seamless that I just had to write this one! It was a relatively "easy" job in terms of auto body repairs but they were able to fit me in during a time that worked with my schedule; performed the work required and each person I encountered from the owner to the technician was friendly and helpful. Although I hope to not have to go back (haha) if I did have a need for auto body work, I would call here first.

Brought my car to Key auto body after having been at another autobody shop that wanted to total the car. Not only did the car get repaired beautifully but we had our car back within four days. The staff was attentive and kept us up-to-date on the progress of the repair regularly. Everybody was very professional and they are a AAA approved Shop as well, which made the insurance claim very simple and seamless. I will be bringing all my auto body needs to them from now on.

My insurance company referred me to Key Auto Body and it was a wonderful experience!
Everyone was very professional and easy to work with. They anticipated all of my questions and needs, they even dealt with the rental car company for me. Regular updates were provided on the status of the repair and the car was completed ahead of schedule. The car honestly looks like new and it's eight years old. They even vacuumed wiped down the interior.
The next time I need auto body work, Key Auto Body will be the choice.

I concur with Ken M.'s review below. I went to Sebastopol Auto Body and it seemed they didn't even want my business. Too busy I guess.
I went to a few other shops in Santa Rosa that quoted anywhere from $200 to $3000 (yes, that is correct) for a minor fender repair. While going in reverse and a metal fitting tore away part of my bumper.
Key Auto Body did it for $100. Looks like new. Todd Puterbaugh was the front desk man, and he was great and got right down to business, which I like.
Overall highly recommended.

Excellent service and excellent work! The staff at Key is friendly, professional and very reasonable. The front corner of my truck was terribly bent and damaged and they fixed it FAST and perfectly! They even went the extra mile and cleaned the inside, outside and tires. Great work team! I would definitely use this shop again.

I had the most pleasant experience here. I had to get my front bumped welded back on before it fell off and I was originally told it would take a few hours and cost 161. I thought wow great that's not bad at all!
I go to drop it off and I get a call in one hour exactly saying that not over are they already finished but that instead of the original 161 it was now only going to cost 100. On top of that, they had some extra red paint and were able to just paint over some of the scratches I had on my front bumped just because they could and it looks great! I am so so pleased with this place,

Took my car here many, many years ago and remembered being satisfied. Scraped the SUV pretty bad, ripping off a wheel flare and saw they were on my insurance list of recommended repair shops. I was leery because I thought maybe my insurance has some deal or whatever with them, you know all those suspicious things go through your head.
A few people told me go where they will eat your deductible for you, etc. but that doesn't sit right with me. Anyway my insurance said they would guarantee the work for life and at my estimate Justin told me about their guarantee as well
