Coosaw Eye Center has been serving the residents of North Charleston and Charleston County for more 15 years. You are also welcome to drop in anytime to browse through our large selection of designer eyeglass frames and sunglasses.

We stock a variety of frame styles for men, women, teens, and children. They are available in a number of styles from fashion-forward designer frames to more traditional styles. Materials include strong and lightweight plastic and metal alloys such as titanium. Frame collections from Betsy Johnson, Respec, Swarovski, Ray-Ban, Costa Del Mar, Oakley, Vivid, Vera Bradley, Lilly Pulitzer, Kate Spade, Scott Harris, Jaguar, Penguin and many more.
Getting the right contact lenses is easy, but it does take a few steps. At Coosaw Eyecare, the process begins with an eye exam to determine the type of lens that best fits the shape of your eye. A thorough exam from one of our experienced Doctors will ensure the prescription for your contact lenses are up-to-date and help rule out any conditions that could affect wearing lenses.
The cost of routine eye exams and prescription eyewear can be of real concern, especially for large families. In many cases, vision insurance can lower these annual expenses. A vision insurance policy is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease.

Worst place ever would give 0 stars if I could. Not given the right diagnosis. After multiple contacts and still having vision issues went to another doctor. When informed about my experience this place promised new lenses...after close to 3 weeks...contacted them back..now they can't do. Will be contacting BBB and a lawyer.

My wife and I had appointment today at 2 and 2:30 and arrived at 1:30 to do paperwork so were ready to be seen at appointment time. Well appointment time came and went and at 2:20 when we left all that was done was the screening. We travel 30 minutes for an appointment an I even voiced my concern of not being seen yet to screener who did tell receptionist who did nothing to address my concern. Definitely not the same level of care the Coosaw Eye Center provided. What a shame. Last year I gave them 5 stars and this year I leave disappointed and not recommending them for care.

My daughter had an appointment in January and she enjoyed the physician who saw her during that visit but there is something that does not sit right with me regarding some of the staff. I am not sure if it is their lackluster attitudes or the dull disposition I received. It is bad enough they do not call the patient prior to their appointment. I may have to visit Dr. Turner at his practice in Daniel Island our next visit. We are willing to travel the distance for better service from the whole staff.

My experience at this practice was exceptional!! From the time I spent with Dr. Schultz to closing out with Katelyn upfront was the best experience I’ve had to date with any eye doctor I’ve visited. I would absolutely recommend them !!! A little extra bonus was the beautiful aesthetics and cleanliness of their office! Very very pleased from start to finish !!

I had my first visit at Eye Care Eye Wear after recently moving into the area. All of the staff from the receptionist, doctors, and other eye care professionals were great to work with. They were all very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They also had a great selection of frames and a staff that is really helpful when trying them out and making that final selection.

Very professional and friendly folks. They made me and my son feel comfortable and at ease. Shout out to Kiara and Eliza for being so accommodating and funny. Kiara even held the door open for me when I left the office. She is a button. :) We were bother impressed by their selection of classes and contacts as well. The high tech equipment was a pleasant surprise since it was our first time there. The Tech, Lisa was knowledgeable and cordial by giving me information about how everything works. Review update - I came back today to pick up my contact lenses. I always buy a year supply of lenses and for years I have gotten a rebate through Acuvue on the year supply. So when I came to pick up my lenses, I was asked if I planned on doing a rebate this year. I wasn't sure if this was a joke because who doesn't want to do a rebate if there is a rebate available? I spent over $500 on a year supply of contact lenses so of course I want a rebate on my contact lenses. She told me the person in charge of doing the rebates normally puts the information with the boxes of contact lenses and

If you ever been to the original location one you're very familiar that they're very professional very friendly customer service is top-notch. Wait for ID and glasses the prices are extremely reasonable. If you have visited service give them a rig give them a call don't be shy. Be sure to leave a message they will call you back within the same day. I've never had problems with them you need temporary you need a replacement or something reach out to them.

It has been 18 months since I've been to see an optometrist and wow this experience was amazing.
The location was clean, modern, and comfortable. Very convenient location and the staff was unbelievable.
This is the first time I've been somewhere that sales glasses without feeling pressured to buy anything and like the optician cared more about me as a person than what they could sale me. I've found my new eyecare provider for sure.

Very disappointing. The eye exam was actually OK as far as I know but the rest of the office staff is an issue. The doctor seemed friendly and professional, but during my first visit one of the people up front made an annoying, factually incorrect, and inappropriate political comment. Then, a week later they had to call me to come back in because they thought they'd made an error of some kind on my prescription. A couple weeks later when I went to pick up my eyeglasses, for which I suspect I paid too much, there was ZERO concern for whether they fit or whether I could see well. They handed

My husband broke his glasses so i called this practice for help. The doctor told us to come right over. The staff was awesome. Doctor stopped what he was doing to help fix his glasses (at no charge). We ordered new frames and contact lenses because this office cares about their patients and walk in's. I am now going to schedule an appointment with this wonderful staff.
