Sunday evenings we are ONLY open for 30 minutes from 6 PM to 6:30 PM for boarder pickup ONLY- no pet drop-offs or medication refills.
In 1990 the Village Veterinary Clinic (established in 1968) was purchased by Dr. Mark Liberto, a Maryland native. His vision was to bring what was Gaithersburg's first small animal hospital into the 21st century, offering advanced diagnostics like ultrasound and radiology and complicated surgical procedures typically only provided by specialists.

Call 301-740-1083 to schedule an appointment and we will find a time that is convenient for you. When you arrive for your appointment, our reception staff will collect your information and any existing medical history you can provide on your pet. It's always best to provide us with the name of any other hospitals who have treated your pet, so that we can request a copy of the medical history and review it prior to your appointment with us.

I love it here! My s/o family recommended us this vet - top notch care and amazing from the front to the tech & doctors. Nail trims are quick and always available , sick visits are definitely a must for us and even when I have “ questions “ they are always delivered to the doctor and responded on time. I literally never have to call to follow up on anything, they are on it!!

I bring my current foster cats here for extensive medical issues, including treatment for mites and infections, diagnosing diabetes, and extracting almost a whole mouth of teeth. Everyone, from the office staff to vet techs and vets themselves, is respectful, patient, and understanding. Doctors and vet techs explain every detail thoroughly as possible and are willing to take the time to address every question or concern, even if the practice starts getting busy. Appointments are pretty easy to schedule with their flexible practice hours and relatively quick availabilities. Coming here definitely
