It was back in 1968 when Dr. Richard Weitzman, a new graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine, opened his first veterinary medicine practice out of the garage of his home in Potomac, Maryland. Since his childhood he had always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian - the kind driven by a passion for pets and their owners, not money or status.

Richard Weitzman was raised on a farm in Pennsylvania. As a small boy he discovered his passion for animals and knew very early in life that he would someday become a veterinarian. It didn't take long for him to realize his dreams. He received his Bachelor's degree from Franklin & Marshall College and quickly moved on to earn a degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine.

Took a month to get appointment. Then as a new patient still couldn't go in with my pet who already had anxiety from our move. Was grossly overcharged for meds but overall good visit. Got to at least speak with the Vet doctor about my dogs health and well being and got a good understanding of how to be proactive in taking care of his health.

Dr Geldon is one of a kind. We’ve had dogs are entire life and with that comes different vets in different states, cities, and even countries. She is by far the best we’ve had. Very glad to have connected with her. We hope she continues to see our pets for a long time.

Liberty Falls is perfect! Everyone from their team is professional, kind and very caring. We ended up having to cancel our originally planed visit cause of snow but they were prompt about following up and getting our next visit set up as soon as they could. The visit itself was great too, our technician and Doctor took time to answer all the questions I had. The Doctor was also very thorough about explaining what she was going to do during this visit and also what we should expect at future visits.

Operating a business during a pandemic isn’t easy but our first visit to Liberty Falls Veterinary Clinic was handled professionally and I felt that our cats were in good hands. A technician came out to the car to pick up ‘Jamie’ and ‘Sophie’ and returned them to us after their check-ups. I communicated with the vet via cell phone, my questions were answered and recommendations made. I was very impressed with the caring service and I will be using them again.

It was great experience. Very personalized service and very caring with Luna. Danielle was sweet & hugged Luna during the visit telling me how good & sweet Luna was during the visit. Dr. Geldon is the best!! Awesome clinician and always ready to help & answer questions. The best vet we have ever had. Makes you feel like your the most important person in the world and that she has unlimited time for you even if she is busy. Love her!
