As an option to deposit requirements, Jetty offers a deposit alternative solution with a small, monthly or one-time non-refundable payment to make renting your home more affordable. You can choose to pay a small monthly or one-time payment. If you opt out of the Jetty program, you will be required to pay a cash deposit.

Overall, fantastic place to live!
There's some reviews on here with some unfortunate stories. Sad they did not have very good experiences, but I think Atwater Cove was a great living community.
Lived there for a year beginning in August 2020. Staff is super friendly and incredibly responsive with any maintenance needs.
Community is safe and mostly clean. No bugs or pest problems. Decent amenities. Overall, great value for what you're paying for.
I'd live here again if I wasn't moving to a new city!

Atwater Cove is the worst apartments I have ever dealt with. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
My husband and I were victims of stalking, dognapping, burglary, and domestic violence. As per California Civil Code 1946.7, we submitted his police report to the landlords and gave 14 day notice to vacate the unit for our safety (as the police strongly encouraged us to do).
Atwater Cove reacted greedily and ignorantly. They are now withholding our entire security deposit and trying to charge us almost another $800 on top of that. The police clearly informed us of the law that they should be following

Richard is the best maintenance guy I've met so far. Great dude and very skilled.
Aside from that everything seemed alright. Until after being stalked by my ex girlfriend, her breaking into my apartment and stealing my dog. The management team directly ordered the only witnesses to the crime to remain silent. Then when I tried to use California law 1946.7 to be able to move somewhere my ex isn't aware of, the management team tried to convince me to stay by telling me they'll make sure she doesn't enter my apartment without my permission. Are they going to install a camera and pay someone to watch

Can't say enough positive things about Richard from the maintenance crew. He is super friendly and always willing to help out. Recently our kitchen sink lost water pressure, and he came to check on it the same day I submitted a maintenance request and made fixing it a priority. No one plans for appliances and structures to malfunction, so it's a relief to know that we're in good hands when things do go awry.

The pool has been closed more than half the time I’ve lived here. First there was construction that I wasn’t informed would effect the pool. Then covid- which is somewhat understandable- however we have never had issues with over crowding at the pool, there is usually only a couple people there. And now, they didn’t clean it and it’s shut down for health code violations. My apartment doesn’t have a private patio or balcony so that is where I go. This is extremely frustrating considering the rent I pay.

Don’t rent here. Our daughter lived here for 1 year:
ZERO fire alarms installed! We noticed going into month 4 and upon requesting them it still took a week to get 1 fire alarm installed.
Took 4 weeks to replace the never worked air conditioner- it was May 2019 and these units have only a sliding glass door and one sliding bedroom window so NO natural circulation and she had a newborn and it still wasn’t a priority.
ZERO guest parking- and if one parked in guest management put a non-removable warning sticker on your window. Yup.
No consistent hot water for 4 months even with weekly complaints

I have had the best experience prior to moving into Atwater Cove and thereafter. I just moved into my new place April 1st.
Latasha is absolutely amazing and guided me through the entire process. She was proactive, super responsive, and always happy to help. I haven't experienced that level of customer service in years, especially within a property management company!
The apartments are newly updated and very clean. I felt 'at home' as soon as I walked in. The size of the apartments are reasonable and the price is spot on for what you get. I'm in a one bedroom for $1,800 a

Been living here for over a year now and here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
- first month rent free
- first year rent is reasonable for the area at $1695 for 1 bedroom unit & 1 garage space
- some remodeling done (fresh paint, new appliances, relaxing duck ponds & garden)
- in-unit A/C & heater that actually works
Cons:
- guest/streets parking is non-existence. You have to pay extra & be on a waitlist for extra parking
- even though there's a no-smoking policy, residents here still smoke a lot! We have to close all windows 80% of the time & turn on the AC. Already

My former roommate and I actually moved out of this apartment complex back in July 2019 after a year lease. Overall we were pretty happy with the experience.
My problem has to do with the fact that we moved on in July and STILL have not received our return deposit check, which amounts to over $2,000. The first few months of the delay was partially our banks fault. But since late October I have been going back and forth with the apartment management. We turned in the necessary paperwork for them to reissue an new check in November. Still have not received a new return check. I have to call multiple

I've never been a tenant here but this review is simply based on my experience viewing the apartments because me and my boyfriend were interested in leasing here. The older lady who showed us around was nice but I felt like her explanation of things when I asked questions was hard to follow and she was sometimes hard to understand. When taking a tour of the apartments I personally really liked the layouts and loved the option of having a washer and dryer in unit. They also had washer and dryers on site which is a nice option if you don't have one in your apartment. And I really liked

Renters be in the know! It's long but please read for your benefit. I lived at Atwater Cove previously known as Sunset Cove for 2 1/2 years. 2 years in B205 & 6 months in F103. Lived there for the decent rent while the old management was there before 3 different managers, 2 different management companies & all the construction. 1st Living in the back B building in B205 was above a garage experienced hearing and smelling cars, garages, trash pickup, hearing everything from your neighbors, water always being shut off , no one having their dog on a leash, dog fesses and urine everywhere

I was served a letter from an attorney explaining that the amenities are not included in the rent price and the fact we have had no pool, spa etc is too bad. I've also been told that my living conditions are acceptable so they will not compensate for my unbelievable living conditions i.e no hot water, plumbing issues they are " flipping" this old complex and the most inconvenient and loud construction going on all the time. I have now simply asked them to let me out of the lease which I would have never signed had they not told me the pool spa closure was going to be minimal and

Don't rent here. Been here for 10 months and I wouldn't renew even if they lowered the rent 600$. Although that's how much it was raised at renewal time.
Didn't have hot water for a total of 3 months during my stay.
My car has been broken into 2 times.
The walls and floors are very thin.
