Laurel Brody practices Traditional Chinese Medicine. She will provide you with a diagnosis when you come to see her and will recommend a treatment program that will include: acupuncture treatments, herbs, supplements, as well as dietary and lifestyle recommendations. Acupuncture: The insertion of new, sterile, extremely thin needles into safe, healing points on the body.
Harmony Healing Center in Sebastopol, is a peaceful, semi-rural Chinese Medicine and acupuncture clinic. Set in the idyllic surroundings of 15 acres of land, a major creek that runs year round, Chinese and Western herb gardens, flowers, organic veggies and fruit trees, just coming here for care is healing in itself.
As the daffodils bloom, the mustard and acacia turn yellow and we have balmy days to revel in, we turn ourselves towards spring. In traditional Chinese Medical theory each major organ rules a season, has a flavor and a color. The liver rules springtime. The flavor of the liver is sour; the color is green.
Laurel has been studying Chinese Medicine since 1978. She graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and received her California license and National Certification in 1986. Laurel has been an Acupuncturist for 30 years. Laurel considers healing sacred and brings that awareness and reverence to her work.
