The strength of Yin and Yang energies and our Jing or Essence in Chinese theory, is the Vitality we receive at the time of our conception and is expressed throughout our lives at different times.

This class will look at how we can positively influence that Vitality and support our sexual health through Daoist thought, and how it integrates with what we've learned in today's health sciences. Dennis is a phenomenal acupuncturist, herbalist and teacher. His knowledge and care when it comes to working with his patients is beyond what I could ever expect from a practitioner. As an Acupuncturist myself I'm pretty picky about who I let treat me and Dennis is one of the very few I trust in this process, his herbal guidance far surpasses anyone I know and he just has a really tuned in way to approach cases that makes you feel supported and hopeful.

I was recommended the redwood needle by a friend, and I am so happy I followed up! I was having shoulder pain and tennis/golf elbow that was frustratingly not improving through massage, physical therapy or chiropractic. I struggled for months. I consulted Dennis, and after each treatment my arm grew stronger and felt less pain. After three treatments my pain is fully gone, and I'm now able to use it like before. What really struck me about Dennis was how much he listened to my words as well as my body before deciding how to treat.

Since fixing my elbow, I've seen Dennis to help me get

I discovered Dennis shortly after the local acupuncturist I had been seeing every month for the last 15 years retired. Those were some big shoes to fill in my eyes and after my first treatment with Dennis, I knew I was in good hands.

Dennis is a talented healer and attentive listener. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He is new to town but not new to acupuncture. Turns out he is also an instructor at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley. I am thrilled he has moved to town and will continue on with him as my monthly acupuncturist!

You would be wise to pay him

Dennis is a wonderful healer! I first came in with a tweaked and spasming back and - after a single session of acupuncture and cupping - I left feeling almost completely pain-free. It was amazing.
I have also seen Dennis for a chronic tendonitis issue. I was impressed with the depth of his knowledge and the time he took to precisely pinpoint the injury and the corresponding treatment. It's clear he has been doing this a long time and has a deep and vast knowledge of Chinese medicine. He also just has a great manner - very kind, warm, funny, gentle, skilled. I recommend him highly!

I don’t post reviews often but am inspired to highly recommend Dennis von Elgg. Dennis was able and willing to take the time and energy to listen to my concerns and effectively treat some long-standing physical and emotional health problems that I have been dealing with. Thank you Dennis!
