Acupuncture is one of the oldest known forms of healing, and has been used to diagnose, treat, and prevent disease for over 3,000 years. Acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutritional, and lifestyle counseling are used throughout treatment to promote health. Acupuncture originated in China and is now used worldwide as an effective means of overcoming disease.
Cupping therapy dates back to the ancient Egyptian, Chinese and Middle Eastern cultures. According to many studies in Australia and China researchers found that cupping therapy is effective especially when combined with acupuncture. Cupping can be described as the reverse of massage. Instead of pressure cupping uses suction to pull skin and muscles up.
Extending back thousands of years, Chinese Medicine offers a rich heritage and history in healthcare and healing. That quality and continuum of care lives on today. I use Evergreen Herbs in my practice which offers superior quality Chinese herbal supplements. Offering a root-level attack rather than a symptom cover; Chinese Medicine provides an added layer of patient safety with little or no side effects.

Ms. Takeda was the first person I ever had acupuncture with. I fell in love with it! I can't even describe it, it is like a tiny hole in an over inflated balloon that slowly releases the stress and you feel like you are floating. It is incredible, I'm hooked! My First Accupuncture ExperienceI was surprised with the time spent gathering health information before the treatment began.

Cheryl is seriously the best! She is knowledgable, professional, and gentle. I started going to her after being injured in a car accident and I was a little skeptical at first. After a few sessions with her my neck / shoulder made a drastic improvement! Her acupuncture has also helped me in other ways. One day I was in the office and I had a sinus infection. She put the needles in my face where my congestion was and by 10pm that night I was completely clear! I highly recommend Cheryl for acupuncture.

I have seen Cheryl on and off for several years to address hip pain and fatigue. She has had a huge impact on both through acupuncture and providing herbal supplements. I have been able to run several miles again for the first time in a while without any hip pain and have felt much more energetic. In spite of my initial fear of needles, the whole experience is not only pain-free but extremely relaxing. Cheryl is an absolute professional and very knowledgeable in her field. Her new offices are beautiful and comfortable and easy to access.

Cheryl is fantastic and truly cares about her patient's health and well being! She is one of the best health care professionals I've ever worked with. I feel truly blessed to have gotten my health in check and owe a big thank you to her for helping to make it happen. She's quite the miracle worker in my opinion, and I always look forward to my visits with her. I've referred multiple friends to her and will continue to do so as well. If you're looking for an acupuncturist, look no further!

I was referred by a close friend of mine to Cheryl Takeda in March 2014 for treatment of Bells Palsy. I had weakness and drooping in the muscles on one half of my face and it wasn't going away on its own. I booked an appointment with Cheryl and she reassured me that she would be able to help.. Which was exactly what happened. We saw improvements after just one office visit and it kept getting better, and did so quickly. My face and movement is entirely back to normal with much gratitude to Cheryl. One thing that made Cheryl stand out is that, not only did she offer acupuncture but she also
