RS is an A.I.S.C. Certified Fabrication Shop. RS has been an A.I.S.C. shop since 2010. Each year RS has a yearly audit from an A.I.S.C. representative too maintain their certification. RS's top notch 60,000 square foot fabrication facility houses an extensive line of CNC advanced machinery. There is no project too big or too small for RS.

Rochester Structural is a metal fabrication and erection company located in the heart of beautiful downtown Rochester, New York. Rochester Structural was founded in 1982 mainly focusing on bridge rehabilitation. It wasn't until the late 1980's that they began expanding into the structural and miscellaneous metals markets which is now the driving force behind its success.
David Yelle started as a groundsman for Syracuse Rigging in 1973. As he quickly worked his way up to leadership roles with his self-motivation, outside the box thinking and integrity, he started to realize there was a lack of "customer first" thinking with an emphasis on "Value Engineering" to help the overall project bottom line as well as the back end schedule.
Rochester Structural's structural steel and miscellaneous metal ironworkers are constantly being trained in the latest and greatest industry techniques, tooling and equipment. Keeping pace with the latest technology available for accurate fabrication by investing in our employees' work flow, CNC machinery and field equipment allows us to meet today's challenging schedules without sacrificing quality or more importantly safety.
We are proud to be able to offer our Structural and Miscellaneous Steel across the continental United States. Our own Erection crews have traveled all the way to Texas, and we have shipped fabricated material from Coast to Coast. We are located in upstate NY which puts us in the heart of the New England Steel supply chain.
Rochester Structural has a top notch structural steel detailing department located within our 60,000 sq. RS employs two full-time detailers to develop shop drawings generated from structural and/or architectural drawings produced by the customer. RS takes this information and inputs it into our modeling software to create a 3 dimensional model drawn to scale.
