Services
Kozel Steel has been the largest source of structural steel for the Rochester Residential Home Building industry since 1960. Kozel Steel pioneered the use of Narrow Cab Steel-Hauler trucks making possible the delivery of long beams in single pieces to individual housing and apartment building sites.
We stock rebar in sizes #3 thru #14 in lengths up to 60'. Cutting and bending services are available as well with quick turnaround times so material is ready for pick up or delivered to your job site when you need it. Welded wire mesh is stocked in 5' x 10' sheets in 66 gauge, 8 gauge and 10 gauge wire sizes.
Our customers can rest assured that J. Kozel & Son, Inc. employees are in compliance with all safety regulations while working on their sites. Periodic on-site inspections of our employees are conducted by our Safety Director on both residential steel delivery sites and commercial steel erection sites.
Jeff was born and raised in Maine. After graduating high school in 1982, he attended Carnegie-Mellon University, graduating with Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering in 1986. Jeff joined J. Kozel & Son Inc. in June of 1986 and after working in the reinforcing bar department, became an outside salesman from late 1986 through 1989.
