Mich-Inspect was founded by father and son team Charlie and Josh West. Together they have performed thousands of successful home inspections for families in Central and Western Michigan. I just had my first experience with this company. WOW. I learned more about septic systems in 90 minutes than I have in 48 years. He explained everything he was doing and why. Very thorough and very cordial. I wont be using any other company from here onward. Keep up the good work guys.

Terrible company. Hired by the buyers agent. Left our house trashed, broke a door off the hinges. Lied on the report. I’d gladly provide pictures and video here if that was an option. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. “Need flashing between the deck and the house” - you only need that if there’s wood on the house against the deck, our foundation of the house is cement against the the wood deck. Do your research. His “recommendations” would have cost us $1,000 if we couldn’t have disproved all his lies.

Was interested in buying a home in Grand Rapids. Charles and Josh were so thorough with their inspections, that it kept me from buying a couple of homes that would have needed a ton of work. The third home they inspected had significantly less wrong with it and we bought that. Thanks for saving me all the headache and cost gentlemen! PS. Sara who works the office was also good to work with.... She moves things around to try and make them work in schedules. Love a good veteran owned company!

One of the most responsive, customer service driven companies I have ever dealt with. called on a Thursday evening, By Monday evening, I had the full inspection report, and in the hands of buyer/seller/title office.
If there were 10 stars, that is what they deserve. I would recommend this company, and they are now in my top 10 list of "Preferred providers"
