I am a Certified Master Inspector which is the home inspection industries top professional designation. Over the last 15 years I have been involved in many different facets of construction and home-building, from boots on the ground construction in the residential and commercial world, to construction project and program management.
Although not required by law the majority of home builders in Grand Rapids and West Michigan offer a 1 year warranty on their newly built homes. They will normally ask you for a list of issues at around the 11 month mark so they can come through make repairs and have you sign off on the warranty.
Obviously living in the home you will have a good idea of most of the issues that need to be repaired, normally small settling cracks, cosmetic issues, under sink leak, etc.What I offer is a new set of eyes to inspect the home and verify that there are no major/moderate visible defects with the home and how it was constructed.

As a Certified Master Inspector I provide a professional, independent and unbiased review of your home and its important systems. I use the latest thermal imaging equipment, moisture scanners, gas leak detection devices, electrical testing devices, and many other testing tools to be able to get the most accurate picture of your homes condition.

Ink Home Services did a very detailed and comprehensive pre-sale home inspection.
The report included great pictures, worded description and even video for us to view.
We were able to schedule the appointment within two days of calling and they provided the report of the home in a very timely manner.
In the end, we did not end up buying the home. I credit the complete home inspection report helping us make an informed decision.

Danny was more than professional. Gave me the run down on everything, and as a first time home buyer, he made things easy. If I had any questions he was quick to answer. Not only did he get my inspection done in a timely manner, but when my car got stuck in the drive, Danny went home, got his tow straps, and came back to get me out. 10/10 would recommend to anyone buying a home.

My wife and I recently had a home inspection and we were both very impressed with the work done by Danny. At the end of the inspection he walked us through the house and showed us possible problem areas and explained exactly what to look for in case we needed to look at homes in the future. His report was very thorough, including various descriptions and pictures throughout. Danny did a fantastic and professional job in inspecting a condo we intend to purchase. He was efficient, effective and within two hours had prepared a complete report full of pictures and descriptions of all areas of opportunity. We are now 100% comfortable with our pending purchase knowing it has been properly inspected by Ink Home Services. My wife and I are in the process of purchasing our fourth home and have used 4 different home inspectors in 3 different states. The level of quality and service that Ink Home Services provided to use was amazing. Danny's inspection was thorough, balanced and calm. He pointed out things almost any other inspector would have missed and spent extra time, to ensure that he investigated a potential termite problem.
