Here at Insight Eyecare, we know how important proper eye care is. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of service so you can have the vision you deserve. We truly believe in routine eye examinations so that you can see as clearly as possible. Once you have to get glasses or contacts, it is even more important to watch the health of your eyes.
Nice exam I'm usually not thrilled about getting my exam because I feel like past doctors are trying to get me out as quick as possible to see the next patient. Dr. Barondes was much different. She took her time with my exam and explained everything to me so that I could understand what my eyes were doing.
It is important for everyone to take steps to take care of their eyesight. Just as people pay visits to their medical doctor and dentist on a regular basis, it is also important to visit the eye doctor just as regularly. Preventative eye care services are meant to help someone preserve their vision by identifying potential issues before they start to cause problems.

Dr. Barondes was fantastic with my 4 year old. My daughter was hyper and having a hard time focusing on the exam, I was feeling anxious over the bad timing of her active mood and Dr. Barondes was calm and kind and handled the entire exam well beyond my expectations. The office is beautiful and welcoming with so many nice touches and the front desk staff kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Everyone in the office is genuinely kind, caring, and highly skilled from the front desk to the doctor. I was able to place an order for my contacts over the phone, which helps with my busy schedule. I was even able to have my glasses repaired for free after I lost a screw. You’re in good hands at Insight EyeCare in Cibolo. 10 out of 10 recommend.

InSight EyeCare is a beautiful facility with a fantastic and friendly team! I have never been more pleased with an eye doctor and their staff. Dr. Barondes is very knowledgeable and made me feel extremely comfortable. I also love the personal touches like the coffee bar and mini fridge, made for an easy wait! This is the first eye doctor that I have personally gone to where I do not end up feeling uncomfortable and under appreciated. Dr. Barondes care for her patients is beyond expectations and she does truly care for her patients. Additionally her office does everything in their power to help you out when needed. I never have to wait long and I can always get an appointment within a reasonable time. I have been going to InSight EyeCare for several years now and it's always been a wonderful and uplifting experience.

My experience here at InSight EyeCare was fantastic! The doctors are kind & knowledgeable and explain everything they are doing for those who haven’t been to the eye doctor often. My experience was so impressive, I have brought each of my family members here to have their eye exams. Picking glasses is simple and Sunny is very helpful. They have your insurance info handy and can tell you what you will be spending out of pocket. We highly recommend InSight and their team, where they make you feel comfortable and informed.

I decided to give this business a try due to the location. It was very clean. The staff was friendly. Dr. Barondes was thorough and kind.
The only issue: Oddly I was not offered glasses and they have an optical center upfront when you walk-in. Also, the Doc does not measure and provide your PD ( Pupillary Distance) on your eyeglass prescription.
Overall a good experience.

I accompanied by husband to In Sight for his eye exam. The first thing I noticed was how friendly the staff was. They were like a breath of fresh air after what we experienced at a different clinic! My husband said he had a very good and thorough exam by Dr. Barondes and was very impressed. The entire staff really knows how to take care of and treat patients. It looks like we found a new place to go for our eye care. Keep up the good work!

I have been coming here for three years now. There is always an appointment for the time that I need. I've only experienced a wait during one office visit. I usually see Dr. B but I saw someone else for this visit. The new Dr was just as nice and knowledgeable. My family comes here as well and I will be bringing my daughter in for an exam soon.

I went in there with my friend and we both got same day appointments, which surprised me. Staff and doctor were very customer oriented and took care of us. The clinic accepts Tricare, which is a plus. They don't pressure you to purchase the glasses from them. The clinic is new and thus everything looks stylish.

They called me to inform me my wife's glasses were ready to pick up. I inquired about mine since we went in together and they told me they were not in. Days later they still weren't there and no one called to update me on the status as they said they would. Now they are saying that I can only get a refund on my frames and not the lenses even though I have neither. Not the service I was expecting after having such a great initial visit. I get better updates from the VA.

I was upset because I showed up at 9:00 for my appointment and by 9:20 nobody was there. I ended up not being seen because I left, but the owner called me himself to apologize and that means a lot to me. We're all busy and things happen that we can't control, but a little better organization on their part could have prevented it.
