Kerrin, the newest addition to Fisher & Orfaly Dental, has quickly become a vital member of our practice as our Front Desk Coordinator. She is an honors graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute where she studied dental assisting. Kerrin started her professional career in dentistry as a dental assistant.
Fisher & Orfaly Dental is a family dental practice started in 1974, offering exceptional dental care for the last 45+ years. At Fisher & Orfaly Dental, we offer a wide range of dental services including general dentistry, preventive care and cosmetic dental treatments for the entire family. We accept patients of all ages at our dental practice.
Dr. Orfaly received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1999. While at Tufts, Dr. Orfaly received the Tufts Merit Scholarship for academic excellence. Upon receiving his degree, he successfully completed a general practice residency at the Veteran's Affairs Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Orfaly and his team create dental treatment plans in ways that maximize insurance benefits and are the most affordable for you. We work hard to stay current with changing insurance filing and coverage requirements. At Fisher & Orfaly Dental, we accept most dental insurances that are available. We are Delta Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Altus providers.
A dental crown or a dental cap is simply a manufactured tooth placed over a damaged tooth to cover it and restore its shape and size, strength and improve its appearance. The dental crown protects the tooth structure in a way that cannot be done by fillings or other types of restorations. Dental bridges are prosthetic appliances that replace missing teeth.

Today I had occasion to remember the great work that Dr Orfaly did on my teeth. 20 years ago before he came to Salem with Dr. Fisher, Dr Orfaly was a new dentist in the town I lived. I needed extensive work done on my lower jaw. Well, 20 years later I lost one of the crown he placed on my tooth. When I called my present dentist he said he couldn’t promise he’d be able to place it back it depended on a lot of variables but he would try. This afternoon he put the samecrown back. I am someone who has been terrified of the Dentist from a very young age, but after seeing Dr. Orfaly and his team over the past couple of months I have 100% gotten over my fears. I have never felt more comfortable and taken care of by the staff. Everyone is so nice and down to earth they make you feel welcome! Dr. Orfaly even came in on a day they were closed because I was having extreme tooth pain, and he totally fixed the problem, I will never forget that. I’m so happy I decided to go to Fischer & Orfaly, best decision I’ve ever made!

Dr Orfaly is the best dentist around! I have alot of anxiety around going to the dentist & Dr Orfaly always makes sure to check in to see how I'm doing & is so nice. If a referral is needed to a specialist, he makes the call for you & gets you an appt quickly (mine was even the same day) I love how they book you with the same dental hygienist for all cleanings.. Adds another level of comfort... Shoutout to mine, Kathy!! 😊

Dr. Oraly did my cleaning during today's visit. The experience was not only wonderful, but he also made sure to fix a tooth sensitivity issue I have been experiencing by bonding the tooth to resolve the problem. I would highly recommend Dr. Oraly to anyone looking for a quality dentist with a professional and courteous staff. Taylor is my regular hygienist who educates me and always makes sure any issues I have with my teeth get fixed. After having a negative experience with a filling with a past dentist, I was nervous to go to a new dentist with tooth pain. I have had a couple appointments with Dr. Orfaly at this point, and he and his staff have been joys to work with. They always answer my questions in plenty of detail - but not too much as to confuse me - and are accessible if I need anything. Even further, I had a new crown recently and Dr. Orfaly checked in a couple times after the various steps in the procedure (it was multiple appointments) to ensure everything was good. It is a great personal touch.

I would give 10 stars if I could! I’ve been a patient of Dr Orfaly for about 20yrs. I was so happy with his work I followed him when he moved to Salem to partner with Dr Fisher. The kindness, compassion and professionalism from each and every staff member is commendable. I have had quite a few issues with my teeth and Dr Orfaly (along with his right hand girl Mirella!) has been there to help fix and support me beyond what one would expect. Aside from being up to date on the latest and greatest in dentistry everyone here treats you like an old friend not just a patient. I look forward to my cleanings

Dr.Orfaly is great, he listened to all of my needs and wants & matched me to the best solution tailored to my problems. My whole life I have had imperfections with my teeth that I never thought would be fixed & I am now able to smile with 100% confidence thanks to him and the technology he has access too. I am a very happy long time patient. I love to ask questions and be sure of all my options. Dr Orfaly is very informed and always works together with me to find the best solution. I have had multiple crowns over the years and everyone of them are beautiful! It is a wonderful thing at age 64 to have a smile full of my own teeth that still gets compliments.

I have been through three dentists before Dr Orfaly and i never felt the same quality of care. Dr Orfaly is highly considerate, flexible and skilled. After appointments at his practice I will receive check up texts to see how i am feeling and if needed quick follow up appointments. Dr Orfaly will give you options and work with you to put your needs first.

Dr Orfaly and his staff are the BEST! They take such good care of me and my teeth, whether I have an appointment or if I am having a dental emergency. Dr Orfaly and his assistant once came in on a Friday night around 10pm to give me a root canal. I was so nervous and he immediately put me at ease with his kindness, knowledge and great sense of humor. I have always been so nervous about going to the dentist, even for a cleaning. George is certainly the very best dentist I have ever had. And having moved around the country so much I have a lot of experience.
I have a really sensitive "bite" and have had to get a number of crowns in my life due to grinding my teeth long ago and cracking them all the way down. The worst part of getting a crown, for someone with that kind of "bite" is making sure the bite is correct.
George recently did a new crown for me and I did not have to go back even once to get the bite adjusted. This is an AMAZING thing for me, and so very important, I cannot beging to convey
