I was blessed to work with Richard Alverez on securing a mortgage loan. Being a first time home buyer we were scared, confused and had a lot of questions. God saw my heart and sent an Angel name Richard Alverez. Richard always made himself readily available to answer every question I had and played several different roles although only being my loan officer. This email serves as a warning for those who are thinking of doing business with Cliffco. DO NOT. These people (to not mention names because I won't go that) far are very unprofessional, liars, and untrustworthy. Since the beginning they lied about my qualifications for a mortgage even though it was asked several times if the loan had been approved. All I needed was honesty and the truth. The unprofessionalism went that far that they pushed me aside to another lender also swearing that everything was okay. To this day 8/19/2021 no one has called me back or responded to my emails. I lost so much

Cliffco made the mortgage process slow and painful. They were not responsive to requests to clarify information and spent so long reviewing documents that they kept requiring me to send more and more information, because what was sent previously was no longer current. They used every excuse in the book (i.e. it was a short week, your email went to my spam folder, etc). They sounded like children trying to get out of doing their homework. If Mario is assigned to you, run.

As first time homebuyers, we were naive to much of the home purchasing process. Lisa Zambelli and her entire team at Cliffco went above and beyond to make the process effortless! We were crazy enough to buy a home during this pandemic but Lisa put our stresses at ease time and time again. Lisa Zambelli is very passionate about her work and I felt that as she guided me through the process of obtaining a mortgage. She's very knowledgeable and explained everything to me, there were no surprises. I literally would call/text Lisa on the phone 9pm at night and she would answer my questions. We had such a great experience as first time home buyers with Cliffco, especially our officer Matt and processor Diana. They were thorough and prompt with the whole process.
