This provides a significant savings to the union members. We are paid for our services directly by The Lender!

Members Mortgage Corp. was created in 1999, specifically to provide an honest and affordable Mortgage Loan Program to NYC's Police and Firefighter Union Members and their families as a way of giving back to those who give so much of themselves. It was received enthusiastically by the union memberships and proved to be an immediate success.

***Regarding the mortgage lender they use: United Wholesale Mortgage (Avoid at all costs and ask for a different lender)

Their tax department is completely incapable of handling your money. I'm being asked for an additional $1,200 payment because of their "expected tax amount" although I submitted documents from my town with an exact amount. They have had the correct paperwork for a month and a half and still will not correct it.
After about 10 phone calls, I have been told 3 times a manager will call me back. No one does. All you get is the run around. I have been told many times

From the moment I spoke to Brianna who was always patient and helpful to the first person that took my paperwork, I felt comfortable, explanations were always given in as much detail you requested. Laura was so attentive to every phone call and returned calls when info was needed. Julie was thorough explaining each and every paper to me. I've refinanced multiple times but this was a Fine tuned Team that stayed on top of everything. So grateful to work with people that are working in your best interest and make it happen. A true pleasure dealing with this wonderful organization.

They are one of the more exceptional businesses out there. They treat you like family. They work hard to get you approved and walk you through every step of the process. Even during the pandemic, they make sure you're comfortable going to their office to close the deal. They're clean and COVID conscience wear masks and give you your own pen to sign the documents and take with you

Everyone dreads working with a mortgage company because of all the hassle it comes along with. But my experience with anything but that with Members mortgage. From the start l, they had clear, effective communication with all the paperwork I needed to fill out and talk me through the entire process. What could have been a daunting process, turned out to be a breeze. And Kevin and Melissa were an absolute pleasure to work with. Closing on a home was never so easy! I highly suggest using them for all your mortgage needs. I had a five stars plus experience!

Used members after a recommendation from a co-worked. They were amazing! They walked us through the whole process, answered every question we had and explained it all. You start the process with Ann who has so much knowledge. We also used the lawyer recommended to us, Joseph O'Shea. He was great. Answered all questions and always got back to us. I even used him for the sale of my co op. Never had to sit around waiting. For something that is an an intense process both Members and Mr O'Shea made it as pleasurable as possible. Highly recommend.

Sends our real estate company a fancy preapproval letter without reviewing the buyers tax returns... luckily we double check everything before entering into a contract.... and saved our seller client time and headache... wouldn't trust this company to close a loan if they were the last company left in ny..
