But Francis Shin, DDS is different for two basic reasons. Not only do we feature the latest in dental techniques and technology, but we view you as an individual and provide personalized dentistry.
You will certainly find cutting-edge dental technology at our Greenwich, CT office, but all of our instruments and techniques are more than simply bells and whistles. We use the latest equipment and procedures to ensure we are providing our patients with speed, accuracy, convenience, and quality. Still, any form of healthcare is lacking without a personal touch, and dentistry is no exception.
Life is full of regular, necessary maintenance and your teeth are no exception. While you certainly need to brush and floss twice daily, biannual professional dental cleanings are equally important. These appointments present an opportunity for a thorough cleaning of your teeth and gums, removing plaque and tartar that daily oral hygiene may not catch.
Caring for your gums can be difficult. Although you brush and floss, food can still become trapped beneath your gums. When this happens in between professional dental cleanings, tartar and plaque may build up and inflame your gums, leading to gingivitis and other periodontal diseases. We use the Fotona dental laser system for several periodontal applications, including "deep cleaning" beneath your gums and along the roots of your teeth.

I have to admit that I was so impressed by meeting Dr.Shin, a truly amazing and a kind person. He was so helpful and clear during my treatment for my bottom teeth implant. I have probably made like three visits to his office and the staffs are beyond amazing there. In three of my visits, I felt like my treatment was just a dream because it was so quick, without any pain and omg what an end result. I came out of his office for my last day of appointment and kept checking my smile. I just could not believe that I was true. Such a flawless and beautiful result.

I've never experienced dental care like this. Dr Shin is at least several decades ahead of every dentist I've encountered. His extraordinary skill and cutting edge protocol is matched by his warm, friendly demeanor. My husband and I live 40 minutes away and he's more than worth the trip!!

Dr. Shin is the best dentist I've ever been to. His use of the most advanced technology is impressive and saves the patient pain and money. He patiently explains treatment plans and truly cares about his patients. His office is modern and clean and dealing with his assistants is a pleasure too. Pristine and state of the art dental office. Dr. Shin is a superb dentist. He’s very caring as well and can even give novocain without you feeling it. He’s an excellent diagnostician. His staff is wonderful. This is the best dental office I’ve ever been to and I’ve been a patient in Seattle, San Francisco and New York City.

Dr. Shin & his team went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my first visit to the office. Absolutely the best experience i've ever had at a dental office (and believe me, i HATE the dentist office!)
