I am looking to move back to the area & was interested in getting an apartment here. I have called and sent emails many times with no response what so ever. Pretty disappointing I couldn't even get in contact with someone to see the place. You would think they wanted to fill their vacant units but I guess not.

The only reason I am even able to rate this building 1 star is for the amazing views/neighborhood you are located in.
As far as living experience goes, it is/was unfortunately extremely disappointing. I was without air for almost 3 full months this summer and had to put in multiple requests to get it fixed. The laundry has not worked and even when it was “fixed”, I still had to hang dry all my laundry since the dryer did in fact NOT work. Constant elevator issues and the gate was broken the first few months of me living here. I pay more than I should for these constant issues. I also paid

I’ve lived at the pavilion for almost 3 years, 17th floor river side in a studio.
Pros:
-Amazing location, right next to Lafayette Park, Dequindre Cut, Eastern Market, & easy to walk downtown.
-The view is to die for and I’ll miss it greatly, river side you can see Canada, the fireworks behind the Ren Cen, & the freighters passing through the Detroit River.
-The pool is great- clean, bathrooms, and hanging flower baskets.
-Floor to ceiling windows (amazing for plants).
Cons:
-If you need to get a hold of management you will need to show up in the office in person. I’ve never once received

Don't move here. Laundry room has been shut down for almost half a year. Management either lies about reopening or is inept at getting it fixed. Electric outlets are almost all 2-prong. One of the concierges is extremely rude. Only a single elevator (out of three) has been working for months, meaning there's usually a line of people waiting to use it. It cant take this long to get these things fixed, making me think the building is trying to save money at the tenants' expense. The view is great, but in my opinion not worth the inconveniences.

I regretfully signed a lease and was then notified that the laundry room would be closed for 8 weeks for repair. On my move-in day there was a pipe burst and apartments were flooded. Elevators are damaged and I cannot move in because I would need to walk my items up 20+ stories to my unit. I am having to pay to store my items while the freight elevator is fixed and pay for an apartment without any furniture. Staff will not give any estimated time for elevator repair. I hope those whose units were flooded were able to find housing. Staff is mostly friendly but continues to incorrectly wear face

I lived in this building for 5+ years, and moved out earlier this year when I became the owner of a house, otherwise I would still be a resident here.
Living here was an entirely positive experience. The management staff was very responsive, friendly, and helpful.
When I had issues, the maintenance team was quick to address my issue in a way that ensured that it wouldn't happen again (e.g. a new garbage disposal rather than repairing the broken one).
The building was built in the late 1950s, and as a result, the apartment walls are very thick, so you can't hear your neighbors.

This place has been in a slow decline over the last 5 years. The heat and AC do not work correctly, and the building currently has only 2 working dryers for the entire resident population, they have delayed fixing them for the last 6 months.
Please please please, strongly consider a different location to live in. If you have guests over and they park on the street, they're vehicle will be broken into, not IF but when.
The elevators, are a real danger with residents becoming trapped monthly. Typically only 2/3 elevators will be working at any given time.
I can assure you; there are more affordable

Excellent view of the downtown detroit city lights and it gets even more beautiful towards the night. The building is set up with great security and equipped with features like laundry room snack machines and gym so that u don't have to leave home to handle those issues. I'm juat here visiting and I love it.
