Just had mother daughter pedicure. Friendly staff but highly disappointed in quality of painting. I could've done better on my daughter using my left hand. In addition she offered to paint her finger nails while she soaked. Jokes on me, as she charged us $15 for it at the end. So during her very short 30 minute 'deluxe' pedicure we were charged an extra 15, which took no extra time. Since she did it during the pedicure. Staff is really nice and welcoming but the service isn’t great. I kept correcting my nail technician. She placed the acrylic tip crooked on one of my fingers, and made my nails SO wide, they look so sloppy. I spent $135 here, but I have to go somewhere else to get them fixed. I kept asking for gel, but they kept insisting that I do dip. I must’ve said at least 5 times that I wanted gel but she ended up doing dip anyways.
Super disappointed and I wouldn’t come back here. I feel like I wasted my money.

I absolutely love DS nails! I have come to DS nails on and off for over a year and honestly every time I go somewhere else I'm disappointed. The nail techs constantly ask your opinion on whether or not you like the shape, color, or design. The price is also spot on. It's extremely affordable!

I started going here about 2 months ago and I will never go ANYWHERE ELSE. I have had my nails done by Donna (the owner), Cindy and Pola. All have done an amazing job. Sometimes you go to a salon and can only trust a couple techs to do your nails but everyone here pays special attention, is gentle and spot on with application and detail. Plus, Donna is so friendly and always remembers you which is a treat! I get dip nails and the price is great!

This is my favorite salon in the SW metro. Donna the owner is wonderful. She goes above and beyond to provide excellent service, get to know her clients and maintain a clean salon. I've been going here for over a year for both mani and pedi services primarily gel/shellac or dip and have never had them wear so well for so long from any other salon. Kate and Donna are my personal favorites. Especially love a female owned and managed business!!

Oh my god people!!! You need to go here best place I’ve ever been to. They treat you like family they do an amazing job!! I was scheduled at Venus nails at 7pm in Waconia and got there no one was there so we called around this place picked up and said yes we will take you no problem and did the most amazing job I am mine blown. staying here never leaving!!!!! I've been here 4 times and have loved my nails every time. The techs are very conscientious and make a great effort to give you what you request. I highly recommend the dip manicure because it protects your natural nails and they won't break, or chip like a gel manicure can. It was $40 for the dip when I was there last, which is a very fair and typical price.

The ladies at DS nails and spa are of the MOST friendly in the business. I have been to many different salons all over (including outside of the state) and they are some of the sweetest ladies! I was thanked many many times for my patience if they were running behind, greeted immediately when I walked in and always treated with respect. They wear their smiles beautifully and I’ve only ever had awesome experiences with them. They keep up on the latest trends for an affordable price. Donna and her staff are extremely accommodating.
I have always been very pleased with my services here, whether I walk in for an appointment or call ahead for one.
I love how inclusive all of those that work there are. I learn all their names and they encourage conversations between all of those getting services also.

I told my friend for her birthday we would get pedicures, so yesterday we chose to come here because it's close to home. We walked in and there were a few people in there but they said they had time so we sat down and picked out our colors. She picked a dark pink for her toes and I chose a purple with some sparkles.The pedicures started like normal, they cleaned the nails, trimmed and cuticle removed, but then they started painting our nails immediately after which I thought was strange because any standard pedicure I've ever had has scrubbed/massaged your feet legs? I have been going to my regular salon for so many years and when I called to get in the appointments available just didn't work. I figured it was time to try someplace new and I'm so glad I did. I called and talked to Donna. I liked her right away. She said, "come on over". I can do you right away. I found Donna to be awesome. She did just as she promised. She helped me pick out a nail color and I decided on getting my nails "dipped". I had never had it done before and I was very pleased with the results. Donna did a great job. Go and see Pet!!! Omg the nails are the best THE BEST I have ever had done!!! I walked in and it was packed. They got me right in and made me aware they don't do acrylic but do the DIPPING POWDER. Ok .... I'm game and it was amazing! I chew my nails so she made sure to cut my cuticles and make them look as nice as she could. She also made sure to recommend the best shape for my chubby little hands! Lol. Best experience!

I saw all the positive reviews and decided to go here for the first time last night. Although everyone who worked there was extremely kind, I will NEVER be back. My nails look awful, extremely uneven, some places without polish at all, lots of bubbles. They are much longer than I wanted because my nail tech wouldn't cut them at all when I asked, and wouldn't cut one nail where it was already broken, so my gel manicure is chipped after less than 12 hours. I have 2 bleeding cuticles that still hurt and so I can't even go somewhere else to get the gel off because of the open wounds

Awesome salon!! My daughter and I went to get a gel mani & pedi and we had to delay the appt 2x that day. Donna was very accommodating and very nice about it..totally no attitude. Donna and the girls (Maly & Monie) are super sweet and so funny. They made the experience more than just a "nail appt" and our nails look fabulous. I will definitely be coming back again!!

Was visiting family from South Carolina and needed a mani/pedi...it was five minutes from the house so I stopped in around 11am on a Thursday....they got me right in...took very good care of me. Everyone was very friendly, the salon was very clean and my nail tech did a great job. I will be back next time we come to visit....Awesome experience...you have a great shop Donna thank you for taking care of me
