Dr. Mollega is a residency trained, Board certified optometric physician, specializing in the treatment and management of ocular disease and contact lens fittings. A graduate of Nova Southeastern University, he completed his residency in 1996 and began practicing as an independent doctor of optometry.
We participate with VSP, Medicare, Cigna PPO and Open Access Plus, EyeMed Access, Avesis, Always Vision, Tricare and Blue Cross and Blue Shield. My husband and I had a great experience with our recent eye exams. Dr Mollega is friendly and very thorough and took time to explain testing and results and answer questions. Staff were friendly and processes for scheduling, check-in and examination were efficient. The facility is clean and comfortable. We will surely recommend Mollega Eye Care to our family and friends.

I came for a family vacation and got an eye ulcer. The office staff were so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I left with glasses I needed since contacts were a no go for the rest of my vacation. They even called my eye doctor multiple times back home to ensure I had the right prescription. I never write reviews but their service was impeccable!!!!!

Let me start off by saying everyone here was very friendly and the customer service was top notch......at the beginning. The trouble started when I had my glasses made at a different store and the prescription wasn't signed by Dr. Mollega. As I left with my new glasses something didn't feel right and I pinpointed the issue to my right eye, it was… slightly out of focus but in a weird way, so I went straight to Mollega Eye Care assuming the other place had messed up. Mollega Eye Care tested my glasses and confirmed they were correct to the prescription Mollega wrote. I asked to have another

I had an emergency a few weeks ago while I was on vacation, my cornea ruptured and after a virtual visit with my doctor at home, and a urgent care visit they recommended this place to me. I literally was pulling in the parking lot while on the phone with them and they told me to come right in. Everyone was so helpful and they all put me at ease. It was right before lunch too, and they took the time to explain everything to me. Great place! Would recommend 100%

The office staff and Dr Mollega were great and very kind. I am a little confused about the bad reviews. I was referred here by another local and their family has been coming here for many years. I was very happy with Dr Mollega. I had been having issues with my eye due to a contact getting stuck. He flipped my eyelid no problem and it was pain free and easy. I will be continuing to recommend his practice and return anytime I am in need of an eye dr.

Staff is kind, nice facility and friendly Doctor. Unfortunately, they said they took my insurance, EyeMed, when I made the appointment, but they actually didn't. I wish they wouldn't have assumed they did without checking or at least been a bit more cautious/provided a disclaimer that they take most EyeMed plans but I should check and make sure they are in network for my exact one since I didn't know EyeMed had different plans.

Waited 15 minutes in the lobby, then 15 minutes in the exam room. Did the first round of tests then 10 minutes later did them for a second time because the tech forgot to have me take my contacts out. Then they made me dilate my pupils. Then they asked for my copayment. Handed me a receipt showing I was charged $83 but couldn't produce an itemized receipt. Then I found out they only did a contact lens exam so now I have to go back to get a prescription for my glasses. Then I drove home with dilated pupils. Terrible

We were totally blessed when a friend referred us to Mollega when we moved to the area 5 years ago. Every single experience we have had has been exceptional. Nothing is ever a problem, all staff go out of their way to make sure every appointment goes as easily & smoothly as possible. These folks are wonderful & we highly endorse their services.

The office staff are incredibly rude. "Office staff are in a meeting" was the excuse of not being able to talk to a manager. My glasses given to me were measured wrong the first time. Second visit the lenses were half out, and not fixed correctly. $700 later and no one can fix my glasses, or let me talk to someone who can fix it. Looks like a three year old tried to put the broken pieces back together. Don't waste your time here.

Went and seen Dr Mollega today. Location super easy to find. Really nice and clean. The ladies there were helpful and Friendly. I've tried contacts a couple times in the past and never wore them because I could see clear. Dr Mollega nailed it on the first time. I've had the contacts in all day and can see great. He was on time, friendly not rushed and said to call if I had any problems. I recommend him to everyone! Plus he has all new utd equipment and takes insurance!! Go see Dr Mollega!!

Dr. Mollega and staff are awesome! They were patient with me as I learned how to put contact lens in and take them out. They promptly answered any questions I had and went above and beyond to be sure I was in the “right pair” for my eyes. It was refreshing to see a staff who truly seemed to like their job and their boss! One employee described Dr. Mollega as the real deal when I commented on his caring and kindness.

If you are looking for an optometrist, I highly recommend Mollega Eye Care & Optique'. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Mollega, Kate, and their team for years, but today just reiterated why we continue to go back. It has come time for me to need bifocal contact lenses (sniff sniff), and they so patiently worked with me 3 different times to get… just the right combination so I could see distance and close up for reading/computer work, no extra cost for my return visits and three different trial lenses. Truly an example of a business well run. Thank you Dr. Mollega and team!

This was the worst experience I've ever had with an eye doctor. I'm a 28 year old female and have been wearing glasses since I was 2, have lived in multiple states and countries, so needless to say have a had a ton of experience and been to dozens of eye doctors over the years. All other eye doctors/appointments throughout my life have been pleasant/normal as usual.
