LV Nails is the best nail salon in Athens! They have a large staff that is always always always friendly and super efficient. They always do your nails to your own unique specifications and are happy to adjust/redo if you are not pleased with the end result. The salon is clean and the atmosphere is pleasant!

I went in for a half leg wax which there website said was only $25. But when I checked out the price was moved to $40! I asked them why, I only got half my leg done and they said because of the back side of the leg! How ridiculous! Obviously they do not have license legal licensed aesthetician to do their waxing because everybody knows a half leg is below the knee!!! And she didn’t even wax the whole thing. This was my first time at this specific location and I was not impressed. I have been to the LV Nails on College Station Road and hated it, however, I tried to be open minded when going to this location. It was very crowded and cluttered when I first walked in. The woman who did my SNS manicure did a fairly decent job. The prices are comparable to other nail salons in town. However, my old SNS manicure was not completely removed and can been seen through my new manicure, some of my "rounded" nails are actually almond shaped, and after 1 week they are already lifting. I will not be revisiting

So, my sister and I planned a girl’s date and picked this particular salon because it had a kid’s chair and I wanted my daughter to experience her first pedicure. My daughter and I arrived first, and when we went inside there was a man in the front who greeted us and told us it would be a 20 minute wait. Since my sister hasn’t arrived yet I said it was okay and sat down. There was an old lady in the front working on someone and she just sat there eyeing us. I went to have a pedicure this week at LV nails. The woman who did my pedicure did not wear gloves nor sanitize the entire time. On top of it all, she answered the phone twice and took a patrons money for services while doing my pedicure. Again, during the whole pedicure she never wore gloves nor sanitized. I do not recommend going here fearing you would have the same service.

This was the most awful nail salon trip I have ever had. All my cuticles and dead skin are still hanging off of my nails. None of my toenails are the same shape and the polish is not smooth on any of them. The lady also tried to sneakily give me a higher priced pedicure without asking me. She left a bunch of dried product on my leg and I had to ask her to wipe it off. I had to calculate the correct price for the lady who rang me up and she still overcharged me by 50 cents.
Most of the workers are really rude and have attitudes. A few of the other workers also tried to sneakily give my friends

I have been going to LV for over 10 years and love it. I get my nails done almost every 2 weeks. They have all the brands that I like and a huge variety of colors. When I walk in the door everyone greets me by name. Judy and her husband do a great job - excellent customer service. I don't write reviews very often, but this one needs to be read. I hope you enjoy your experience as much as I do.

My experience was kind of expected after seeing how run down the salon looked but it was packed so that usually mean the service is great.. wrong. I usually don't allow guys to do my nails but I gave him a chance. HUGE MISTAKE! He seemed upset from my simple questions and the whole process was rushed. I got SNS dip powder but he used a brush with purple liquid to dip in the powder then apply to my nail and did not answer me when I asked why he's not dipping my nail instead. Proceeded to rush and let's just say it's been 4 days and my nails are AWFUL! Waste of money..

This was my first time at LV Nails because I was visiting a friend and had free time. I was repulsed by the lack of treatment I received. The woman doing my nails approached me while texting on her phone and continued to do so while I was waiting on her to get the SNS powder. She continued while I was sitting in front of her waiting and finally began. She also did all my nails in the wrong color, she got them switched with the person next to me. I went yesterday for a regular manicure and pedicure. The price listed is $32. I was charged $42. When I asked my nail tech about it, she insisted that the price was correct and that she even gave me the student discount to make it more affordable. I get home and look at the website to check the price and sure enough, the price for the service I received is $32. I am extremely disappointed. I have been a loyal customer to the LV locations since I moved to Athens in 2015. I will never come back again.

I've been a client at this salon for almost 10 years, and I get the same thing every time. However, within my last few visits, they tell me a different price than what I usually pay. I ask why every time and I get a different answer every time. Very inconsistent and confusing. I am very sad about this considering I love the work they do and they have a very pleasant staff. I just don't like feeling like I'm being ripped off. I would still recommend them for the work they do, but be careful about what they charge you.

I used to love this salon but the last few times they just haven't been good. I went in yesterday after work and the last who was going to do my nails had to leave and I'm sad she didn't get to do my nails (Elizabeth) she was so nice.

I came here because I had a gift card for a pedicure from Christmas. I'll enjoy a nice pedicure when I have a special event, but I would much rather get a manicure instead. I asked them if I could do that, and they were more than happy to oblige (just changed the $ value).
My technician's name was Laura, and she did a fantastic job! Awesome!! I have been here twice and they have done such a great job both times. They are extremely detail oriented and make sure to do your nails the exact way you want them. They spend a lot of time making sure that they look great. They are extremely affordable and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
