I'm updating my review for the second time. The first was a single star, then I gave them three for finally responding. Now I have increased to 4 stars because the General Manager was assigned to my "case" and my order has been filled thanks to a deal he made with a larger customer. Frank went out of his way to get my issues resolved and my order in hand. It took a terrible review to get a response, but once my concerns were in front of them, they worked to resolve them.

I had a appointment scheduled for August 5th 2021 Thursday and spoke to a gentleman and told him about my condominium requirements for a aluminum window frame with sliding windows which I wished to replace my old jalousies window, he seems nice ,Later on about 2 days later on Friday July 30th Friday I get a call about and earlier appointment due to someone canceling their time so I was told that they would come the next day Saturday the 31st at 9:15 am to 10:30 am and I told that person they must come before 12:15 as I have to go to work so I waited and waited ,I get no phone call or text that

Ordered three safety screens, three all weather louvre & two safety screen doors. Cost 8,000 took over four months from order to finish, for the money the safety screen looks great but only one weak looking lock that came with it nothing safety about it.cost 2,000 each.Windows I'm happy with it. As far as customer service poor ratings never let's you know how my orders coming along & when scheduling work order makes me wait half a day waiting for workers to start sad. Suggestion up grade your locking mechanism from one deadbolt to two.lots of room for burglar to pry open kawili

If you need anything for sliding windows, shower/bath doors or screens this is the place. There is sufficient parking, a very helpful staff, plenty of parts on site to fabricate or repair whatever you may have, and prices are reasonable. I needed to have the latch replaced on a screen door, arriving unannounced. They had a new latch installed within 20 minutes and the price was within reason.

So frustrated that the door-handle on my super-pricey double security screen doors rated to over 300# is broken AGAIN! It has broken at least 5 times since it was installed. Both the actual handle (cheap metal which cracked and fell off) as well as the mechanism break easily with normal usage. They installed a non-standard size door handle made in Japan so nothing manufactured or sold in the US will fit. I have to go to their store and order and pay well over $100 each time for it to break again. The person at the counter was so rude to me last time. She said they only order it as a "courtesy

Worst service ever.... I had my glass window inspected and the inspector notated that my house was on the market to sale. To note the urgency. Received a call saying I would have a quote after the new year holiday. I waited and had no response. I had to call multiple times and was told someone would call me back. The sad thing is a supervisor even failed to contact me when had my quote in hand. After waiting so long the repair cost more than a new window itself. ($800.00 more) Now my house is in escrow and I am behind a week because of their lack in Customer Service. I would not recommend them

The phone and counter courtesy and expertise was a great experience after lot of frustration in locating replacement parts at big box stores which did not have items. Before I went there with my contractor, they volunteered to search for parts by asking their suppliers should they not locate what I was looking for. Tsilva and Kukuna Nakanishi were fantastic to work with as we were approaching the closing hour. They had wide product knowledge as if they were also repair techs and explained the return policies thoroughly.

We've used Screens & Things a couple of times for two different jobs; replacing our flimsy sliding screen door and installing a security screen door on our front door entrance. Their website is easy to navigate through and that's where I submitted my initial inquiry/quote for services. Response time was pretty quick; within a couple of business days and they scheduled a technician to come out to measure as our doors were custom sizes.

Mistakes happen. It's important to note that Screens and Things addressed all of my issues and I now have a well-built sliding screen that exceeded my expectations. They stood behind their product and I'm very happy with the results. In hindsight, there are a couple of issues that prevented me giving a 5 star. It took several calls just to get a quote for my screen and I did not initially get the product I ordered. I hope this was an isolated case and I appreciated Mr. Alexich's comments and action. Yes, I would recommend this company.
